-He can't beat the top heavyweights.
-He'd be more physically competitive
-He'd renew his public interest
-He'd likely be fast tracked to a titleshot against a champ who will likely run out of challengers by the end of 2012.
Roy has clearly hit the ceiling at 265, a move down is just what he needs.
