Tonight the UFC returns to Japan for the first time since April of 2000! UFC 144 is coming to you live tonight from Saitama, Japan, home of many epic Pride FC events over the years.

Things are scheduled to kick off at AROUND 7:30 eastern time for 1 prelim fights on Facebook.com/UFC.  Then at 8:00 eastern time you can catch 4 fights for free on FX . Finally at 10:00pm eastern time, plunk down your hard earned dollars to watch the Pay Per View main card.

Your prediction results and leaderboard ranking will automatically show up in any posts made here. If you want to embed your full listing of picks you can do that also.   Your picks, as well as a link to embed the image, and the top of the site-wide leaderboard will all be available in the right column on this thread.

I think it coulda been a draw. 10-10 makes sense for the first round, but I don't believe cariaso won the first

@Gregory Nothing was done with the TD, but nothing was done in the standup in the first 2 rounds. The first 2 rounds were devoid of any real action. The TDs were the most significant offense of the first 2 rounds. That's why Mizugaki should've won.

carioso clearly won 1&3. All mizugaki did was a takedown a round and stall on top. Carioso was trying to finish from the bottom and was about what and what on the feet. P.S. Let's go Cantwell!

This fight is pretty good, but jeeeez do these guys have bad cardio. That's the problem with the upper weight classes.
