as much as I want to see how big the other thread will get throughout the year, I think we needed a cleaner OP for newer members to be able to tell what is going on, so for all future discussion please come to this thread and kindly let the other one die.
The draft is over and we have our 6 new FANTASTIC teams, I'm really excited to see how this season unfolds as I think any team can win after the draft here is the new updated rosters and the team standings as of WEEK 8.
I'm cool with the monthly bonus, but I don't think we need to keep adding new players all the time. If the cherry pickers want to start their own league and see who's the best, they can.

Hate this idea, it creates a much larger gap between the top 3 and the bottom 3 weekly and monthly, which ruins competition and hope, should the teams 4-6 try to mount a comeback (which they obviously can under this system, but not under the new bonus system). Basically, it gives a massive advantage to Punk Rock and American Werewolves, and totally screws over Honey Badgers and Tapology Top Team. As for Swick With It and Sons of Tapology, we won't know who'll be screwed until the end of March.
This new bonus system rewards the top 3 teams way too much, shouldn't the reward for them be the place in which they are in? I think that is enough of a bonus.
@Messiah I think you are going to have a problem with people eagerly anticipating the game when it runs year long and starts over again as soon as it ends. You're probably gonna have a lot more feedback about burnout, then players chomping at the bit to start all over again, of course that's just my opinion. Though hopefully the next time around there wont be such a problem with people that want to "play" not picking the fights, and screwing it up for the rest of their teammates trying to have fun but also compete.
And rorschach I've thought about what u mentioned before. I might cap the league at the end of November to establish captains a draft and give people a break and time to recharge. But we are a far way from that
I've lost track of what's exactly going on, who's with who, how points are calculated etc, some time ago.

People are upset because of huge gaps to 1st that they had no part in making.... hmmm?... and you wonder why everybody down-arrowed something that will make the gaps bigger.

had you guys started outperforming us, it would have CLOSED that gap a whole hell of a lot faster, that was what I was trying to accomplish. But like I said, I'm not changing anything.
That's true, but the gaps in the season so far are pretty far apart, if this rule was implemented in February I think there would be a lot more positive reaction towards.
I think people don't want to see Punk Rock get a huge boost.
