source mma weekly. if dana said he was a little interested you know they would pay both fighters alot of money to do it. anybody got the PPV numbers yet? i wondered when i watch the fight the second time if diaz just stopped in the middle of the ring and just stood there that condit would have to engaged. i hope it happens.

Attention everyone:

Let's all decide to agree on one thing about Condit/Diaz. Condit has the way hotter WIFE.

Disagreeable? Sure, I'm not for everyone.

But I'm not a troll, I do love MMA, and I have my own biases and opinions just like everyone else.

I do, however, agree that the judging is sometimes hazy. And I was incredibly worried that they would wrongfully award Diaz the win for moving forward without landing any game-changing shots. So when Carlos won, I was pleasantly surprised that the judges had finally seen through just a fighters aggression and seen the importance of each strike landed.

@hybrid Goddammit. That didn't work.

@brad He doesn't have a wife. Although, I remember something about a girlfriend a few years ago, but I don't know anything about it.

Found a picture of Diaz's girlfriend. Also happens to be his dealer.

pretty much sums it up for me. I hope Condit beats GSP if there is no rematch.

I'm a HUGE Condit fan btw. I've been watching him since early WEC. So it's not like I'm some kind of Diaz nuthugger or anything.

what is your argument? diaz was moving forward? ok well what did he do while moving forward? oh yeah he missed punches and got tagged.

ALL diaz did was move forward, he did no damage. and as for octagon control. moving forward is not octagon control.

if he wuld have held condit there and landed punches then THAT wuld have been octagon control but no condit moved away and landed strikes while diaz was looking stupid moving forward and missing a high percentage of his strikes

Zuffa owes the people a rematch

I haven't seen controversy like this since Machida/Shogun I. I think we can agree that many people, even outside his camp, think Diaz won with names like Dan Henderson, Chuck Liddell, Joe Rogan, Ariel Helwani, Mark Munoz, and more. That's just to drop a few names of people who are in the fight business(fighter/former fighter/analysts). I have friends who don't watch MMA that much and they wondered how a guy can win running away like that. The only people who seem to think Condit won w/out a doubt are Dana White, Greg Jackson, his camp, and Nick Diaz haters. I think Zuffa owes it to the people to set a rematch so that we can have a clear winner.

Guarantee if they set this rematch up, one of these two guys will finish it to prove they are clearly better. Look at the fire Shogun had in his eyes in his rematch with Lyoto. He went in the octagon on a mission to finish the fight and did just that. I think we'd see the same with a Diaz/Condit II.

Meh.  I thought Nick won, but I'm not interested in a rematch.  It wasn't a severe robbery like Machida/Shogun 1.  It definitely reminded me of that fight, but Condit did more than Machida.

Already said I'd not talk more on this, but let me just say that Joe Rogan's opinions mean absolutely nothing. That man is the least unbiased commentator I've ever heard. He picks who he likes more and then says nothing but how great they're doing, losing or not.

Is the reason the ANTI-DIAZ crew doesn't want a rematch because they are not sure that Condit can do it twice???

Kinda curious to see the answer to that.  I mean if your guy so soundly beat him, which he didn't, I could understand not having a rematch.  But this is one of the most hotly contested decisions amongst fans and fighters.  So I can't see a reason to not have a rematch.

@lopati personally i just don't want to see Diaz crying and making threats and then getting what he wants again. He lost the fight and he needs to get over it. All he has to do is win one fight to be right back into title contention! That's why i don't wanna see the re-match. I don't think Condit would have any problem out smarting and out classing Diaz again.
