I'm thinking the same thing...Condit could use the exact gameplan and win the fight again...When's the last time Diaz actually made an adjustment?

Condit won I scored 49-46 for Condit. People get mesmerized by Diaz and his taunting and think it means he's winning. I had Carlos up 4 rounds to 0 going into the 5th and I had him ahead in the 5th until Diaz got his back.

Taunting had nothing to do with the way I scored the fight. I scored it for Diaz simply because he was the aggressor the entire fight.

Walking into punches and kicks isn't effective aggression. Condit initiated most striking exchanges took less damage landed more shots and the harder shots. It's baffling anyone thought Diaz won.

@bigj My thoughts pretty much exactly. I actually have Condit winning all five rounds. Taking someone's back for a minute and then being entirely unsuccessful doesn't win you a round after 4 minutes of getting outstruck.

@ Bigj  Exactly. I don't understand why people think aggression is so important, especially in cases like this where it just leads to you getting hit more.

I was at the fight and thought Diaz won. Diaz clearly won the first 2 and the last. Anyone who has ever been in any sorta fight would tell you that Diaz won. Every fighter/coach I talked to afterwards (Urijah, Castillo, Camarillo, even Guida) felt Diaz won.

So much for that warrior spirit of Condits. Backpedaling like that and not engaging should be penalized. And Im a Condit fan. Condit was given a gift by the judges.

@grizzly ANY sort of fight? We talking non-sport related? Cause I've been in those, and I had Condit winning. So you're wrong on that one.

Its always been important if it wasn't it wouldn't be on the scoring criteria

@anikm...Really guy? It's always been important, I hope your being sarcastic, because that was a stupid comment, no offense, but it's a big part of the sport and judging criteria to winning a fight, Always has been... Maybe your new to the mma scene, but I dunno I could be wrong. =)

And many other MMA fighters all agreed that Nick was robbed. MMA fighters are actually the real judges, if you really think about it, since they're very experienced in fighting to begin with, not the opinion of a few biased judges.

Inb4 you make a post saying "I THOUGHT you were done with MMA" I just had to post that.

No they arent the real judges because when it comes down to it they have no say in the result of the fight. Is it necessary to keep going on. Diaz lost, Condit won. I was on team Diaz but seriously come on.

Gunna agree with Mike on this one. First and foremost, take Rhonda Rousey out of there.. she trains with Diaz.. so its obvious she is biased.2nd of all, you listed like 5 fighters, on my twitter feed there were many more fighters and people I know favouring Condit.

Just because you come forward and you are the agressor in the fight doesn't mean that you automatically win the round, especially when you are out struck. Condit clearly won that fight with a superior gameplan.

I also had Condit clearly winning the fight.  Matter of fact, I think that fightmetric pretty much hit the nail on the head.  BTW, I picked Diaz to win this fight via TKO, but I did honestly score the fight for Condit.

Condit looked more like the baby to me, however, i dont blame him for his gameplan. I just feel like octagon control and aggression clearly won nick the fight. But hey, yet again, just my opinion. I do think condit has a better shot of beating GSP but nick won that fight hands down in my opinion. Condit clearly had the way better gameplan though.
