from what ive heard costa might be injured but I haven't seen anything confirming it yet. 2 fights in a year seems like too much for costa lol. I hope they cut him at this point, all he is good for is selling wolf tickets

I’ll honestly put a lot of the blame on the UFC if Costa hasn’t sign the contract yet, Costa already did this stunt last year canceling the Whittaker fight, UFC should of learn their lesson and made Costa sign a contract by now. It not even like that hard to do. But I also think Costa isn’t a position to be a diva as being difficult while also being 1-3 in his last 4 is a very valid reason to be cut

Costa asked for a fight in June multiple times on his Twitter after the Whittaker fight. If he pulls out of this one, it’s 100% on him

I just don’t think it hard to get fighters to sign contracts, it’s a billion dollar company, The UFC shouldn’t be in this position in the first place. Especially with a co-main of a PPV.

I was trying to tell people that thought Costa was gonna fight on 301 in Brazil that there was literally no way. This guy hasn't fought twice in a calendar year in forever. This fight happening was always a longshot and the fact Paulo hasn't signed the contract yet when the fight is 2 weeks out means it's all but certainly not happening.
Brenden Allen is really the only option and this card is already so bad so it can't lose Strickland. It might be just a 3 rounder since Allen just fought 5 rounds but they need Strickland on this card at all costs.

So, obviously the Minecraft Enchantment Table is the fun pick here. However, his only fight that is on UFC Fight Pass was a split decision against a guy who was 9-4, and is now 9-6. Lima looked good against Mike Tyson so I'll go with him.

**** it #GillySeason. otherwise I have Islam Rd2 KO, he says he's preparing something special and I think he found a way to set up a nasty KO since Dustin's defense is the same every fight and there are holes many have already exploited. The wrestling threat will be so great that Dustin won't even think about the stand up threat imo

Such an oddly thrown together card. Not great for a ppv. Hard to say porier doesn't deserve a title shot because of his resume & he was able to step up when other options weren't since makachev just had to be on this card for some reason. I would literally cry from joy if porier wins and rides off into the sunset but sadly makachev is too well rounded and I think he finishes porier by dropping him with a headkick and getting a RNC & porier probably retires 😢. Confidence 7/10

Costa coming off a loss yet the ufc gives him a higher ranked guy his next fight, hilarious. I wouldnt mind costas chances in a 3 round fight but I don't see him finishing strickland and I think Strickland can walk Costa down and outpoint him in a close fight. Confidence 6/10
Almeida vs. Romanov

Almeida was ragdolling blaydes then stayed on a single leg for too long while getting elbowed in the head. I think Almeida is the better grappler in a grapple heavy fight & also has better cardio &, isn't a fatty fatty confidence 6.5/10

I think zaleski is good enough to expose chinny randy brown. Confidence 4.5/10
Holland vs. Oleksiejczuk

Michal is just a basic boxer. If Holland takes this fight serious he should win. Confidence 5.5/10
Gall vs. Hafez

Hard to get a read on Hafez. He made it close against JDM yet also got the **** beat out of him. I liked his performance on short notice and I think Gall is a bum. Plus Hafez is on the sauce. Confidence 6/10

Both are chinny grapplers. Dawson is the better grappler. Confidence ,6/10
Rowe vs. Matthews

Matthews has been in the ufc for almost 10 years yet he hasnt really improved much. Rowe has good boxing & cardio and is the much bigger guy but I think Matthews is a bit more well rounded. Confidence 3.5/10
Kopylov vs. Almeida

Should be a fun kickboxing fight. I think Almeida is the better grappler between the two but I don't see either grappling & I think kopylov is the better striker in a standup fight. Don't sleep on Almeida tho. Confidence 5/10

Both are ****/washed/bums morono is a little less of a **** washed bum. Confidence 5/10

#1 pfp proves himself against an actual LW. I think Islam is underrated asf on the feet and will eventually wear down Poirier enough to secure takedowns and eventually ground and pound him out

I really like Paulo but I can't see a path to victory here. He lacks the crazy power or wrestling needed to finish Sean and he's not going to win a purely volume battle with him.

Easy money. Jailton may be a ****e lay-and-prayer against true top 10 guys but Romanov is not it. He survives the round 1 storm and then finds an RNC against a gassed Romanov

Capoeira's recent wins are much more impressive, and he looks to be aging great. Brown has a pretty suspect chin and if Zaleski is able to make this a clean fight he can eventually find the killshot
