Wow, so 8 people actually ran the table last night with 11/11 picks. I need to up my game or else find a new hobby. I suppose those results were helped by few if any upsets taking place.

@thiago we will be doing contests like this one for many of the events. can't say yet if it will be *all* of them, but we've got some nice stuff lined up for the bigger UFCs in the near future, and i imagine that will continue. as gregory pointed out last night, though, first priority is getting the site sped up for us all - web traffic is cool, but when it slows things down to a trickle it's not so cool any more. that'll be taken care of in february.

that's further down the pipe @thiago. it's something we see the value of developing soon, but by far the most comments we are receiving are about building out the rankings features more -- definitely gonna do that -- and more recently, improving the site speed as well. so we want to attack those first and then come back to stuff like mobile apps afterwards.

i guess the principle is the squeaky wheel gets the oil, so whatever the site community wants the most is generally going to go to the top of the list, provided we can figure out a way to build it.

J/K... you'll have to wait and see what we've got in store. We've gotten a lot of rankings feedback and are trying to take all of it into account to make something really cool.
