Hopefully the rematch between Malykhin and RDR gets Tapology to fix their entry for the first fight to be labeled as light heavyweight for the light heavyweight belt, not heavyweight.

Very very pointless rematch. The first fight wasn’t close and I don’t imagine much has changed here

Brooks vs. Pacio II
Jarred Brooks, DEC
Brooks is too good for anyone in his divison at ONE

Bhullar vs. Aliakbari
Amir Aliakbari, TKO, R2
This is a tricky one, aliakbari has a good record but he is fraudulent. When he can’t get the takedown he gasses badly and he has terrible standup. I wanted to fade him, but bhullar is just as bad. He’s a wrestler with no ko power and he looked terrible last fight. Gonna go with aliakbari because at least he is active

Tang vs. Le II
Kai Tang, TKO, R4
Tang looked very good last time out against Le. I thought Le would run the divison but it looks like age has caught up to him

Fairtex vs. Zamboanga
Stamp Fairtex, TKO, R3
I don’t think ONE has any girl who can beat stamp. She gets pushed a lot by one but stamp is incredibly talented

Bhullar might exhaust Aliakbari by running him around the ring. Age and good eating have caught up to Aliakbari. He will swing for the fences, but come up empty.

Yamakita vs. Miado
Keito Yamakita, SUB, R3
At 5'1" Yamakita will be hard to track down and hit. The youngster will do enough to sway the judges and then take some awesome selfies with his peeps.

Malykhin vs. de Ridder II
Reinier de Ridder, SUB, R4
This is almost a hail mary pick. A few points from their first meeting: RDR didn't look much smaller than Malykhin, which works against him - the impact on Malykhin's strikes will only be worsened for RDR, because he's carrying even less protective fluid around his brain to keep him sound from those overhand bombs, which we already saw him fail to sway away from over five long minutes. Fortunately, having taken a year off will benefit him at least slightly in that regard, because that's one year spent refining his skillset in the nitty-gritty aspect of things, as well as one year in recovery from that ass-whooping. Frankly speaking, there's not much reason to be picking RDR given how their first bout went, but I'm picking him anyway for the few reasons that I can. For one, although he struggled to take Malykhin down, there were zero setups to his entries; just by setting up something using his length - even if it isn't necessarily pretty - he has a much greater shot at securing a takedown, and I don't see him employing the same dumbass strategy he did the first time around. This is almost a given. Plus, if de Ridder can get a good start going and he can build momentum, his odds of just winning the fight skyrocket, because for what it's worth, he still has a shot at blitzing Malykhin with clinch- and ground-strikes. Lastly, just from the mental aspect of things - RDR may be ****y, but he sure as hell shows up for the sake of ego. For that reason, I just can't see him losing this, as strange as it may sound. I think he pulls the upset here, and all of it comes down to starting off on the right foot.

Tang vs. Le II
Kai Tang, DEC
Tang is an absolute beast. He's one of my favorite fighters outside the UFC, and definitely amongst the more shrewd strikers in that category. Personally, I struggle to see this fight going much differently from the first one; Le rebounded well against Freymanov, but it's a different calibre he's dealing with here, on all counts. Perhaps he could stun Tang and make something of that, but he's always showcased iffy hunting abilities against those with nimble feet. Le has peaked; can't say the same for Kai. There will be visible refinement on his part this time around. Moreover, I still haven't seen Le tighten up his defense in clinch-range, particularly on the right side. I could absolutely see Kai luring him in and lamping him with a left hook somewhere around the mid point of the fight, but I do also believe that Le is gritty enough to hang in there for a second time. Kai takes this, and far more dominantly than the first time.

Brooks vs. Pacio II
Jarred Brooks, SUB, R2
Stoked for this. Pacio turned around quite remarkably after losing to Brooks the first time, but I simply don't think he's worked up to that level yet. Maybe a little bit more competitive than last time this will be, but there can't be much more to be said about this. Pacio doesn't strike me a world-class tactician that will devise a genius gameplan to exact his revenge. Brooks cinches up the RNC again - this time finding the finish.

Bhullar vs. Aliakbari
Amir Aliakbari, TKO, R1
Bhullar is the more technical of the two in the standup department. With that said, his cornerstone strategy of peppering jabs and shooting for takedowns won't work to his favor here. He's bound to get clipped in one of the scrambles, and I'm thinking it happens early.
