Dana said that Islam will fight again in summer. I have my doubts as well since they probably want to have him in Abu Dhabi in october again as well and therefore it would be kinda risky to let him fight in summer.
But since Oliveira already was in line to fight Islam this year and it only doesn’t work out because of Islam‘s injury I have no doubts that Oliveira is next for the title if he‘s gonna pull it off, regardless whether it‘s gonna happen in or october and regardless what Abdelazis wants.

Since it‘s been said that there‘s a massive Max Holloway fight in the making I believe he will fight Gaethje at UFC 300 for the BMF title. If nobody gets injured the UFC could make Islam vs Oliveira in summer and the winner vs Gaethje in october or the other way around.

Holloway should fight Gaethje for the BMF title at UFC 300. He should also be considered for a LW title fight if no one else is available at some point this year should he defeat Gaethje. He also can rematch McGregor later this year in a massive fight if McGregor defeats Chandler. I think Max Holloway might have a big year.

Also there might be a scenario where Strickland defeats Dricus next week and then they schedule Strickland vs Chimaev at this event as one of the headlining fights. If Strickland wins in the first two rounds, doesn't take that much damage, he seems like the type who would want to fight quickly especially on a mega card like this.

It would have been awesome to have Brock Lesnar come back for one more fight against someone like Derrick Lewis. It's a winnable fight for him too similar to the Mark Hunt fight from UFC 200. He would just need to implement the same exact gameplan that he did against Hunt and he would win. He's also been off from WWE programming. He was part of the UFC 100 card and the UFC 200 card, might as well make him part of UFC 300 as his final MMA fight ever. With Derrick's personality, the press conference will be spectacular between these two.

Brock Lesnar is 46 year old and haven’t fought in 8 years and been retired for 13 year, he shouldn’t and 99% won’t fight anymore.
And Honestly I don’t care to see it, I much rather watch younger talent instead of fighter that been retired for a decade, it might bring ass to seat, but the fights with these old farts won’t be great, much rather have Jiri on the main card

Rountree is not getting a shot at the title after beating a washed-up Smith, buddy. Sorry.

He needs at least a win against a guy like Jiri, Rakic, Walker or even Jan to challenge Pereira (if Poatan is still the champ).

Also, Gane is not getting a fight against Tom after beating Spivak. He should get the winner of Blaydes x Almeida next, if Tom gets the chance to fight Stipe.
