Predictions: 9 of 14 Winners, 7 Perfect, 700 Points   |   Tied for 1255th

Burns vs. Maddalena
Jack Della Maddalena, TKO, R3
This is close af. Part of me feels this is going to turn into either Burns just ragdolling or a war. If it is a shoot out, I think JDM does come out on top. I might change my pick later on especially depending on the JDM weight cut.

Blaydes vs. Almeida
Curtis Blaydes, TKO, R2
Blaydes. I honestly dont believe Almedia can take down Blaydes, Aspinall, Jones or Pavlovich without serious effort and his standup isnt great. I thinm blaydes waits for his shot, defends lands on top for GnP or works him out on the feet. Lets be real though, Blaydes has negative fight IQ and throws away fights he can win. Almedia also will likely have improved in his GnP output by all the criticism he recieved. winner should fight Tom at the end of the year.

Neal vs. Machado Garry
Geoff Neal, TKO, R3
one of the worst possible striking matchups for Garry. If Kenan is spamming left hooks and you are still getting caught and not just the being dropped, but repeatedly getting hit. Neal is gonna put it on you. He is underrated af and has way more proven power than Kenan.

Yan vs. Song
Yadong Song, DEC
Song has massively improved and with the wrestling getting better this only works in his favour against Yan. Hopefully Yan returns to form, but until we see it I have to trust in Song more. However, Song's last big hole in his game is his footwork and if this is purely a boxing match, Yan will present some clear problems, but 3 rounds and Song's power sway me more.

Munhoz vs. Phillips
Pedro Munhoz, DEC
Phillips is good, but I just dont think he is that great. Munhoz may be at the end of his career but he still has it and unless Phillips pure wrestlefcks he likely wont do enough. I got a Munhoz decision, but I will rewatch some Phillips tape and may change my opinion.

Vergara vs. Almabaev
Asu Almabaev, SUB, R2
Its RIP to CJ, dude is fun but he isnt on Asu's level. would be crazy if he pulled it off tho

Gamrot vs. dos Anjos
Mateusz Gamrot, DEC
I got Gamrot by wrestlefck. If Luque is out grappling you that strongly, I have full confidence Gamrot will. RDA needs to chin or sub gamrot.

Murphy vs. Silva
Karine Silva, SUB, R1
Easy set up promo fight

Holland vs. Page
Kevin Holland, DEC
Sadly MVP will just lose he isnt on Holland's striking level with is crazy to think about. But hopefully we get MVP/Wonderboy afterwards as a reitrememnt fight for both

Honestly, more hype for this undercard fights then the main event, don’t really care to see Chito in a title fight, when they Merab, Sandhagen and Umar in the division. I don’t like underserved title fight when they more derseve title challenger. Chito isn’t that good

Really wish then made Sean vs Sandhagen if Merab didn’t want it just because that sound great, or give Merab a tittle shot  if he want it because people think Merab is the best in the division, and than it the champ vs Best and that way more fun

I bet JDM at +130 and Yadong at +140, but I bet Blaydes big at plus money, I think Almeida is going to get exposed bad against Blaydes. Also Blaydes opened +160 and it's basically -105 pick em now, so sharps defintely aren't on the Almeida side. I don't have a lean in the Holland/MVP fight

Predictions: 2 of 3 Winners, 1 Perfect, 125 Points   |   Tied for 7140th

Burns vs. Maddalena
Jack Della Maddalena, DEC
This one is hard to predict because Gilbert is one of the few BJJ guys who can wrestle. And Jack Della's TDD is still not tested enough. Gilbert is' that threatening on the ground with his submission but he has good top control. Gilbert can also crack and is dangerous on the feet, Jack leaves his chin up in the air a bit when he's throwing in the pocket(but so is gilbert). But I'm picking Jack with the assumption that he can stop the takedowns, and if it stays on the feet I just can't see Gilbert beating Jack. And Gilbert is like a decade older.
Yan vs. Song
Yadong Song, DEC
Song has multiple advantages or Yan. The first one is obvious, the momentum, Yan got dominated in his last fight. The first time in his career, And he's on a 3 fight losing streak. I have to think Yan's mental state won't be at his best.

The second advantage Song has over Yan is his speed, if you look at Yan's UFC career, He struggles with guys who have a speed advantage over him and can compete with him in the pocket. Song checks both of the boxes better than pretty much every Yan past opponent.

The third advantage Song has over Yan is his kicks, especially his leg kick. I think this is a very overlooked factor in this fight. Song is a good and fast kicker, he consistently attacks his opponent's legs in his last few fights. Damaged Simons's leg and outkicked Chris. And Yan always struggles with leg kicks, his lead leg got pretty damaged by Merab in the second round.

I think this fight is going to look a little bit like the Rivera fight but without the knockdown. If you watch that fight, Jimmie was winning most of the fight. He was battering Yan at the range with his leg kicks and outboxed when they were in the pocket. But unlike the Rivera fight I don't think Son is going to take backfoot in this fight. My only concern is Song's strategy coming into this fight, whether he will consistently use his leg kicks.

Uhh, card is so stacked so far, but I would love to see one more five rounder on this one.

I mean, Song v. Yan and/or Blaydes v. Almeida for 3 rounds is a joke.

It does seem kind of odd that after 3 straight main events, Song is now going to fight his toughest opponent yet for only 3 rounds. I'm with you there.

But if we're being honest, Jailton/Blaydes combined go to a decision only 16% of the time. That fight is all but certainly not going to need championship rounds.

No one really expected Lewis to go for 5 rounds with Almeida also, hahaha. Those two were booked to fight 5 rounds already before Blaydes got injured anyways.
