This is a hard one to predict tbh but one thing I believe can call for sure is that this bout is likely to go to a DEC. By all means I'd love to be surprised by a flash KO from either fighter but lets be real ... if someone's pulling that off it's likely to be Leon with a kick. Although his body kicks are ruthless, I don't see him wearing down someone like Covington enough to get that finish he's looking for & after what happened to Usman in the later rounds, Covington is going to be on his "A" game in the realm of head kick defense for sure. And I also don't see Leon breaking in the later rounds considering he went almost the full 5 w/ Usman in higher elevation in Salt Lake City and has a broad amount of 5 RD experience himself. Obviously we know Colby does as his gas tank is one of the best in all of UFC, but it's very much possible that Leon is gonna have to get Colby out of there to get a win because we all know he won't be slowing down. My pick might change in due time, but with Leon's recent win against Usman the third time around in London, we saw him do better in the wrestling than before and Edwards knows exactly the type of heavy wrestling pressure that Colby is gonna attempt to put on him especially in the later rounds. Edwards himself also has pretty good jiu-jitsu and it isn't out of the realm of possibility for him to catch Colby coming in for a takedown and wrap up a tight guillotine also.
