Cháirez vs. Lacerda
Edgar Cháirez, TKO, R2
Lacerda dangerous for 1 round, he could be due for a meme 1 round finish, but I’m not picking someone with always loses, also has very bad cardio which I don’t like

Lupita should get the finish here right?  She is too strong for Reed.  Just get her to the ground and SUB her or ground and pound?

Objection. A debut WMMA fighter at -500 is not a lock. That's a donation to the bookies long term.

it's a double debut though, and Mann is a 5'0 girl who has gotten KO'd. This is one of the few times such a line is warranted.

There's no way -500 is warranted. Josefine isn't even a finisher so the most likely outcome is it will have to go through the judges.
Even if Knutsson wins 90% of the time that means you make an 8% ROI on a -500 line, that's just a garbage risk/reward ratio for this type of fight.

Just watch what happens if Knutsson loses a split decision. The forum will be a storm of users raging about incompetent and corrupt judges and betting being impossible, never for a second questioning their decision to put this type of a fight at those odds in their parlays.

She’s not gonna lose tho. I think you’re banking too much on the ufc debutant curse without factoring in who these people are. Knutsson is one of the best prospects in wmma. We already saw mann is not ufc level after Brasil outclassed her on dwcs. Add to that she’s taking this on a weeks notice and is the size of an atomweight

My point is, you don't have to bet this fight. There's a full card of fights, next week there's another, then another, then another. Risk management is key, I don't believe you do yourself any favors betting a spot like this.
But of course, everyone makes their own decisions and best of luck.

Grasso vs. Shevchenko II
Alexa Grasso, DEC
I know Shevchenko is amongst the most decorated champs ever, but the mileage is evident. Granted, Santos and Grasso are both beasts in their own rights, they probably wouldn't have sniffed the version of Shev from a few years back. Her reaction times are much slower (cue Grasso lighting her up with straight lefts), which is deadly for somebody that relies so heavily on drawing attacks to counter as their offensive mainstay. Moreover, the mental advantage is going to lie in the hands of the champ, I'd assume; sure, Val is a veteran who's bounced back from losses before, but after an opening round comprised of varying degrees of success with her gameplan, I think the confidence will begin to wane a little bit, allowing Grasso to take over and either finish again in emphatic fashion, or to run away with the scorecards. I'll go with the latter.

Holland vs. Maddalena
Jack Della Maddalena, TKO, R2
Jack's last performance was a one-off letdown. It isn't a reliable indicator of his capabilities as an athlete, but even so - having cut weight twice in that short a timespan and still showing up to win against perhaps a decent talent, albeit in shaky fashion, is impressive. Holland is a rangy, awkward striker, and that's what sets him apart from the bunch. His style is immediately, famously associated with him. With that said, there are glaring holes in his defense... one that I expect a sniper like JDM to pick up on, close the distance with foundational movement principles, and make him pay for. The JDM train will be back, rolling on in full steam.

Rosas Jr. vs. Mitchell
Raul Rosas Jr., DEC
Solid rebound for Rosas. He still has a **** load of time to work up to the UFC calibre of competition, and I just hope that he's guided in the right direction. It would be such a shame to see him turn out a mediocre name that once shined owing to his age.

Campbell vs. Reyes
Charlie Campbell, TKO, R2
I had absolutely no idea Reyes was still in the UFC.

Considering Mitchell has only fought like 3 times in the past 5-6 years and his age… I think it’s an easy decision for rosas, I don’t think he finishes him tho.
