They should create a reality show called  A Week With Durden and see who can last a week living with Cody. God that guy is obnoxious....

That's because Durden took this fight on short notice. Hadley was supposed to fight Ulanbekov, but he withdrew. Durden already had the fight against Bruno Silva booked and took this fight with the guarantee that he could still fight Silva after this one.

I personally think this fight against Hadley is going to be a scrap, so I'm not sure if he gets out unscathed. Though the fight against Silva is booked the end of September. So I think he'll be able to do both, unless he injures himself or gets brutally KO'd somehow.

That was my main concern... If this fight is scrappy like it should be , I don't think he'll be able to fight. I think Hadley puts a hurting on em

I personally think Durden is so confident because he probably saw that Hadley's takedown defence isn't the best. Hadley usually settles when he gets taken down and prefers to strike off his back or search for sub attempts for too long without the urgency to get back up. Which was evident in his fight against Nascimento. So it's safe to say that Durden will probably take the initiative to take Hadley down asap. With that said, Hadley definitely has an advantage on the feet. So I think this is going to get interesting if Hadley manages to keep this on the feet somehow. IF that happens, we could see a fun and scrappy fight

Good line on Hadley right now but it might get even better. I'm 50/50 on how it will move.

BigMarcel is a good friend of mine and he tells me that Cody is actually a really nice guy. He just took some pages out of Colby's book and tries too hard to put on this fake persona in the media. What he said after his fight vs Aoriqileng isn't helping him either. I think that was just stupid and racist.

I have a different read on Hadley, I think he does try to go for a sub from the bottom but then he will scramble to get up and he did manage to reverse Nascimento at one point early in their fight. The issue for him in that fight was Nascimento's size and BJJ advantage, Hadley just couldn't get up.
Durden is a good and tenacious wrestler but he doesn't have the best control and he's at a clear disadvantage in the BJJ. He will probably take Hadley down but I don't see him holding him down and as you said Hadley is the better and more active striker. Durden usually puts himself into submission attempts and we've seen him getting subbed twice in the UFC already so that is always a possibility.
On top of that I think Hadley's gastank looks phenomenal hardly breathing with his mouth after a first hard round. In contrast Durden drops off pretty hard after the first round and especially going into the 3rd.
Hadley should be an even greater favorite than he currently is imo.

I'm honestly not sure yet who to pick in this fight. My first thought without watching tape was to pick Hadley, but I'm just not so sure yet. You're right about the gastank of Hadley and Durden. Cody's cardio drops off when he struggles to keep someone down. With that said, Hadley has been preparing for a fight against Ulanbekov. So I'm sure he has been preparing himself properly. Though his takedown defence has been an issue in his previous fights. You could very well be right about the things you said, but I'm not so sure yet at this moment. I'll have to watch more tape.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 2 of 3 Winners, 0 Perfect, 115 Points   |   Tied for 4637th

Sandhagen vs. Font
Cory Sandhagen, TKO
Cory Via TKO. Think damage takes a toll on Font and Cory gets the finish!

Andrade vs. Suarez
Tatiana Suarez, SUB, R1
Tatiana via Sub. I think she gets Andrade down and subs her in round one to make a statement.

Jacoby vs. Nzechukwu
Kennedy Nzechukwu, TKO, R2
Kennedy via TKO. Dustin starts fast but seems to be on the decline while Kennedy has been improving each fight. I know He starts slow but he is massive.

Am I crazy for loving Jacoby here? He got robbed against Rountree, and ran into a top prospect (thirty four years old, but still) last time out. He's such a good technical striker with top volume, who will fill all the gaps in action, which has always been Kennedy's weakness. Bouts of inactivity and directionlessness. He fights from behind often, and Jacoby is extremely durable. Even if he fades and loses the third round, I'd expect him to have banked the first two and head for a greasy split decision.

I have Jacoby. Not a super strong lean but he's +130 which is good enough for me. Kennedy has insane physical gifts but I think he's evolved rather slowly in his UFC tenure. If he turns a corner at any point though and start to get his stuff together and start to fight with a plan and a purpose then he will be very dangerous in the division.
I want proof of it first though before I get my hopes up, he's not at the most cerebral camp imo and he's 31 so not a super young fighter at this point.

Kennedy Nzechukwu by RD2/3 submission

Predictions: 4 of 12 Winners, 2 Perfect, 275 Points   |   Tied for 4204th

Why is everyone talking down on Kennedy? He is a great athlete and great human being. He takes this W by however he wants. Howw I see it going down:
First round starting slow, Kennedy is arranging the range.
Second round Kennedy starts to drown Jacoby, if he has arranged the distance, in the feet, if not, he takes Jacoby down and when Jacoby is trying to get up, Kennedy locks in the RNC.
