I know Andrade hasn’t looked good her last two fights, but isn’t it possible she only lost to Blanchfield because of short notice and she just got caught against Yan? This is the same girl that has competed with and beaten some of the best in the strawweight and flyweight divisions. I know Chookagian isn’t a wrestler, but Andrade made quick work of her with a 10 inch reach disadvantage. Also, Suarez’s last fight didn’t show me much. She still only had one fight in 4 years against a bad fighter. This is a huge step up in competition. Isn’t it possible Andrade comes out strong and finishes her quick before she can be taken down and submitted? Maybe Suarez of 4 years ago should be a big favorite, but I still need to see more to see that she’s back in fighting mode.

At first I wanted to pick Osbourne, but if you compare it like that, he didn’t beat anyone at the top either, except for Johnson in a close fight

How about a bet on Wells, I think if he had a more iron chin that would be a good bet.

@antcav

I’ll give her a break on the blanchfield fight, like you said 2week notice and it showed that it was time for her to move down in weight. I can’t give her a break on the Yan fight, the constantly throwing 6 power hooks combos and not starting with and mixing in straight punches caught up with her, especially when going against some one that much bigger than her. I don’t see Suarez throwing too many straight punches either but i think Andrade last fight may be proof of falling behind as the divisions are progressing. Doesn’t seem like she’s adapting at all to an evolving sport. She came up in an era where a lot of the women even in the top 10 were very much green. Based off of skill of her opponents her last good win I would say is Lemos, before that Chookagian… I’m honestly not very fond of Chookagian, she’s been a top 5 gatekeeper solely because of her size. So that speaks for itself..
All in all I just think how she progressed in the sport was her downfall so used to being able to bully opponents that weren’t skillful it kept her from working on techniques and honing skills around her bully style. In terms of the top 6 she has some chances with Rose, and Lemos just based off history and maybe Carla. Anyone else I think they take her, I just don’t think she gets close to a title shot again.

This was an interesting one to pick, I think Font can pull it off not sure why people think he quits he's never been knocked out and submitted twice, with 8 decision losses. One ******* hard a fight to pick but I think this will just be an amazing fight, sad I can't watch it.

On the outside chance that anyone cares my bets this card so far are: Jacoby, Hadley, Klein

Hadley vs. Durden
Jake Hadley, SUB, R2
