Sandhagen and Merab deserve the shot more than Chito. Bantamweight is such a shark tank, Aljo was disrespected and it's not his fault but this feels like there is a legit champion finally.

Yeah I don't know if they do the Chito fight. They might, just to make sure Sean defends at least once. If they throw Sandhagen Merab or Umar in there there's no guarantees he defends.

Nah but seriously I think some of these new stars coming up are more bussiness savy than fighters used to be. They more often call for veterans or for matches that could make sense from a hype perpsective but not necesarilly the best possible fight competition-wise to make.

Both Ian Garry and Sugar Sean has taken a page out of that book with a slow and calculated climb towards the top in who they fight. Taking on big names when they have to but not doing what Sandhagen does and trying to get the most difficult fight they can find.

Suga x Vera is the fight to make, in terms of business. Merab deserves his shot, but I guess is gonna get passed by. 

And I liked Aljo's honesty after the fight. He doesn't have the level of striking needed to go to 145. He would get smoked by the top guys in that division.

Aljo can’t strike he should spam takedowns the whole fight. Force the grappling like he always does. I’m sure he would do okay at 145 but he wouldn’t break into the top 5. I wouldn’t mind seeing sterling vs Ortega. Plenty of grapplers up there

Calling Aljo the bantamweight goat was ridiculous, I'm not a hater at all but this really exposed him and if he makes his way back he can earn it honestly. 
And I thought he would beat Sean, even so considered him really the third best bantamweight in the ufc alone based on merit lol

All I willl say is it's way way harder to stand out as a bantamweight today than it was back when Cruz ruled the division. You literally have to be a Jon Jones level talent to do it.
