Gillian Robertson, DEC
Really like this fight. Both are solid grapplers but have much different approaches to how they engage. Ricci is very safe. She takes her opportunities when someone leaves an opening but for the most part she's position over submission. Her striking looked really bad when she first got to the ufc. But she's definitely been working on it. She's also been working on her footwork and staying mobile. Gillian on the other hand is a very aggressive grappler. She's trying to smash her opponents and if not that she will hunt for submissions. Her strength at 115 has been on display as she is a bigger woman for the weight class. Her striking is very meh. Not much to offer in that realm but at least her technique has gotten better over time. I see this being a closely contested fight but Gillian will edge it with her aggression and pressure. I could see a world where Gillian lays on her back for too long and loses rounds but I'm confident she'll know what to do. Either way I'm looking forward to this fight and don't really mind either winning
Zhumagulov vs. Van
Zhalgas Zhumagulov, DEC
Yet another replacement for Zhumagulov. I like this matchup for him though. I like what I see from Van but he is green atm. He has skills particularly in the stand up and submission game. When he see's something he does give up position and makes mistakes which I believe Zhaglas can take advantage of. Zhaglas has more experience and has the wrestling and output needed to stifle Van's attacks
Peek vs. Mariscal
Chepe Mariscal, DEC
Man this is a tough one. I really like Peek but he's just not ufc ready imo. He's got heavy hands, heart and is very strong but there's so many things he lacks. Technique, takedown defense, overall grappling and cardio. He's a dawg so he will try to push through it. Chepe is much more technical on the feet and has ok grappling but nothing super crazy. He's got nice kicks and a good overall variety of striking. What I don't like is his willingness to brawl, that's where Peek thrives. As long as he play's it cool and technical he should win. Not confident though, I would not be shocked with a Peek KO
Emmers vs. Jenkins
Jack Jenkins, DEC
Outstanding fight here. Both of these guys are similar in the way that both are very talented but lack awareness in some spots. Like Emmer's fight against Sabatini. Dropped him with a clean combo only to get left without an ACL after going to the ground with him. But he does have clean striking and some decent power. His grappling is also solid. Jack had some mistakes in the Shanis fight. One of which led to being mounted which would have gotten him in trouble against a more experienced opponent. Jenkins is so well rounded though. He's got a very slick way of putting his punches and kicks together. Especially the calf kick which has comprised several opponents of his. Overall very very close fight. Hard to say who's gonna win but I edge Jack just because of the variety in his strikes in a fight that will most likely take place on the feet
Taira vs. Rodrigues
Tatsuro Taira, DEC
Love the fight but I wish I could see this down the line a little bit. Kleydson is one of the most explosive flyweights out there. When he lets things fly he's fast and accurate. He's also big and strong at 125 which gives him an edge even in bad positions. His gas tank is his main issue. He's almost guaranteed to win the first round against most fighters but after that he does slow down. Taira on the other hand is very economical with how he does things. Solid striking even though he's got limited head movement. Good dexterity in his kicks and he has some good straight punches. The grappling is where he shines though. It's amazing at 23 what he's able to do. Every transition is nice and slick, he's aggressive when he see's and opportunity and he has solid ground n pound. He could get caught early on but I don't see that mattering as I believe he can survive and put it on Kleydson in the last 2 rounds

Cody Brundage, SUB, R2
This is a bum fight by UFC standards here. However there are levels to these low level fights and I think Brundage is better than Dumas by a considerable margin. I think he's just going to dominate with the wrestling. Dumas has almost no takedown defense. As long as he doesn't make any mistakes like putting himself in a guillotine he should secure takedowns. From there it should be easy pickings. Key word is "should"
