Madsen can be a problem in the heavyweight division if he can improve his striking. His takedowns are sick, and his gnp is brutal.

Mike Russow seems like a very durable fighter so I can't really see Jon Madsen finishing him. His only loss was a submission loss to Sergei Kharitonov earlier in his career. There's really not much for me to go on with Russow because I've only seen him fight once or twice.

Madsen on the other hand had lots of TV time while he was on TUF 10 and he looked like an absolute beast against the guy who just smashed Tim Sylvia. So far in the UFC he's 4 - 0, using wrestling to win his first three fights by decisions before going nuts on Gilbert Yvel to get the TKO in his last fight.

I'm predicting a unanimous decision for Jon Madsen.

We all saw Russow take a beating against Duffee and staying in that fight to get the KO win...Russow is a tough fighter that will always be in every fight and a good test for young fighters trying to climb the ladder.

I know that his record is glossy, but Jon Madsen still looks like the same plodding, limited fighter who should have lost to Justin Wren and been cut from the UFC to me.

Mike Russow has more experience, better wrestling and he has heavy hands. Madsen showed on TUF he can't take a punch when he fought Brendan Schaub. I would say Madsen with the way he looked as of late but I look at the facts and see Mike Russow has the better chance of winning.
