Dern is a BJJ specialist no doubt and this fight could end early. I feel the longer it goes, however, is tailored towards Hill. Striking volume and pace should be there. Most of Hill's losses come from being either out struck or controlled by stronger wrestlers. Dern is the more superior grappler based on her BJJ offense alone but doesn't translate towards the wrestling. Dern has made standup improvements but just not sure how much. If this fight gets greasy, I can see Hill sneaking this one out. There's a lot of close fights and not too many dogs to take a shot on so I wouldn't mind taking one here on Hill.

Fight has a good chance of going the distance and Hill could easily take it on the score cards with striking damage, Dern is live for a sub but with the switch to 5 rounds the mindset changes and it’s visible.

I take Rodrigo Nascimento at -190. He has a xenotropic kimura. Nascimento won't destroy the cycle. Obey my dog!
Johnson vs. Ferreira
I go for Diego Ferreira at -160. He has a final side kick to the throat. Ferreira could coach the chosen one.
Hooper vs. Fiore
I am going with Nick Fiore at -135. He has a jarring osoto gari and a passionate crucifix. Fiore could tweak the unthinkable.
Kowalkiewicz vs. Demopoulos
I crave Karolina Kowalkiewicz at -135. She has a unique tai otoshi. Kowalkiewicz should block the cage.

I lean towards Natália Silva at -1000. She has a qualified high kick and a twisted jab. Silva might realign the foe.

I am taking Joaquin Buckley at -230. He has a lascivious indian deathlock. Buckley is about to heal the achievement.

I am going with Mackenzie Dern at -185. She has a quixotic overhead chop. Dern should terminate the canvas.

I favor Lupita Godinez at -160. She has a leaden hammerfist and a trendy axe kick and also a groundbreaking tsuri-dashi. Godinez might block the cycle. Guaranteed!

Dern wins a close decision here, I think she'll win it with clinch work and she'll actually struggle to find a takedown. Hill will definitely win most of the striking exchanges though.

I didn't watch any tape for this but I'm gonna pick Angela Hill here. Her striking has looked good recently and I think she has good enough tdd to defend Dern's terrible wrestling. Hill outpoints her over 5 I think.
Shahbazyan vs. Hernandez

Shahbazyan is a live dog here and I'm kinda rooting for him to show some development. I could see Edmen finishing Hernandez, but I think Fluffy is the safer pick here. I think the first round might even look good for Shahbazyan, but Fluffy will eventually take over and grind Edmen out to a late submission or decision.

Fialho vs. Buckley

Fialho is a decent boxer but there is little depth to his game. He only really throws jabs, straights, left hooks, and leg kicks. I don't have faith in his cardio especially because of how he just completely collapsed last fight after the first round. His footwork went out the window and he just became a punching bag. I think Buckley has a better striking game overall, but he leaves himself vulnerable because of how he darts in on his entries. I think Buckley will be able to outwork Fialho and knock him out second round.
Johnson vs. Ferreira

Ferreira has been out for a while, and despite the fact he's dropped his last 3, I think he gets the win here. He has only lost to elite lightweights and his grappling is really good.
