The difference between Dern and Demopoulos is that Demopoulos can take shots and actually has offensive wrestling instead of just praying for the fight to hit the ground.

Johnson could be on a 5 fight win streak, Clay outwrestled him but I dont see Diego having that same tenacity. Hes 38, almost 2 year lay off and coming off a couple injuries. He may even be injured. I see Michael Johnson winning decisively to a late round ko or most likely decision.

Nick Fiore, SUB, R3
Chase could be 1-4 his last five fights but Peter Barrett is an idiot. Chase sucks, and is moving up in weight while Nick has always been a solid 155er while also fighting and winning at 170. Nick trains at the New England Cartel so you know hes getting that world class training. Confident in Fiore to kick this dudes ass but dont know if this goes to the distance or not. Fiore is a black belt and I can totaly see a rocked or gassed Hooper getting out grappled or subbed. Fiore is the real deal.
Sato vs. Gorimbo
Themba Gorimbo, SUB, R1
Solid grappler in Gorimbo. ****e takedown defense from Sato. Gameplan for Sato should be guillotine city but I highly doubt he goes there. Themba has Colby Covington in his team, got the jitters out of his first fight where he showed he cant dominate the fight with his skill, and fighting someone who is so vulnerable to get taken down should be a great comeback fight for Themba. Give me Themba by Sub.

I'll admit that I'm a ****poster but in my defence my ****posts are at least high-effort and I do offset them with researched fight breakdowns and predictions, and I'll never have an apoplexy over someone posting an opinion on a fighter or a fight I don't agree with.

Vanessa's way too opportunistic a submission artist to pick here. Karolina is over the hill, but the last thing to leave her is her volume. And unless she slips up fatally, she's going to dominate Vanessa.

2) Didn't get finished in his debut on short notice.
That's what you guys are all going on and I genuinely find that goofy. Hooper is no world beater but it's like everyone's forgetting that he's also a black belt. Hooper has the experience and QOC advantage on top of a little bit of size. Finally, I personally think all of Chase Hooper's losses have aged well. Garcia was the first one to finish him but he also looks like a monster right now at 145 now that he's figured out his weight cut. Peterson was a tough fight against an aging gate keeper that looks a little better once you realize he almost followed that win up by beating Erosa, and Cacares is currently ranked #15. None of those losses are bad looks for a 23 year old IMO.
