The problem is for these guys they both gas in round 2. We have never seen evidence to the contrary for either one. That's why I have it by decision. I think it's either a finish in round 1 or two exahusted fighters stumbling around the cage to a decision. Unless they've really improved in that area.

@AyyLmaonnaise

When has Jospeh Holmes wrestled anybody? Sure he has Jiu Jitsu but literally 0 wrestling takedowns or skills.

Predictions: 5 of 7 Winners, 2 Perfect, 300 Points   |   Tied for 3925th

Sterling vs. Cejudo
Cejudo TKO, R2

I believe Cejudo will nullifie Sterling wrestling and keep the fight on the feet i can see Cejudo having sucess with his strikings and find a TKO R2.

Muhammad vs. Burns
Muhammad TKO, R4

Muhammad has improved his strikings with a really nice jab and with some smooth moovements on the feets, i believe Muhammad will have sucess here with his jab finding some greats shots, Gilbert is really tought but against this kind of fighting stlyle that Muhammad posses Gilbert will have some issues like he had against Kamaru Usman by being jab to the death and in this kind of matchup there is no where to go for Gilbert.

Andrade vs. Yan
Yan DEC

Andrade will brawl and Yan will sting like a bee, i believe Yan will nullifie Andrade wrestling since Yan has improved a lot with her takedown defence thanks to team Faber and i can see Yan getting the decision here not a easy fight for Yan but she will get it done by landing more shots and by having goods moovements on her feets.

Evloev vs. Mitchell
Mitchell DEC

I see a lot of people picking Evloev here and i understand why but i believe Mitchell might outwork Evloev and done just a bit more to get a close decision or even a split, Evloev might win the first round of the fight but i can see Mitchell getting the 2 last rounds by outworking him, close fight here the odds should be closer they are not because of Mitchell last fight against Topuria but Topuria would have done the same things to Evloev and literraly expose him  any where the fight goes.

Gracie vs. Jourdain
Jourdain DEC

Im kind of split here Jourdain is a less better version of swanson in therm of skills and Gracie wasnt that bad against swanson he just got beat by a better mma fighter, here Jourdain might have the advantage but i hope he can defend Gracie takedown i believe he can since Gracie takedown isnt good but who know maybe with thoses 3 years off he has been working his wrestling but i dont think so.

@crimson he’s attempted a takedown in every ufc fight (except the last one but park was wrestling him). He has 6/8 wins by sub. His wrestling is trash but a light breeze could knock ribiero over

Well I don’t wanna say it’s trash, Holmes just isn’t an athlete. He actually does the right things but is just slow and unatheltic. Again, a 44 year old bum was taking down ribiero with ease

@Rah123 chaos maybe is lock together with evloev and maybe aliskerov. But dont take dober as a lock , very dangerous in my opinion.

@Rah123  Burns was himself declaring that he is very happy finally he got 5 rounds to finish his opponent. So here everything is on the side of Burns. Plus Belal has problems this time with cutting weight, he is doing emergency cut. You will see everything on the weign in day, he will look awful

Only thing in Aljos favour is just his size/height, that's it, cejudo is better in literally every facet of Martial arts, and also much faster, powerful, footword, probably even stronger even tho he's smaller, Cejudo is greatest combat sport athlete of all time and he's gonna make ez work D3 Level wrestler

I wouldn't say either is a lock, I really like Frevola's chances here and might pick him. I don't think he's as chinny as the McKinney fight suggests.

I'm picking Williams but wouldn't be too confident.

Most confident bet for me is Aliskerov + Belal/Burns O1.5 + Evloev/Mitchell 01.5 I think.

I have a feeling if Aljo wins he's going to vacate the belt to move up anyway.

Very good point about Belals weight cut. Especially during Ramadan. I find Belal super annoying. Hope he loses

the theme of this card is over 1.5

main - over 1.5

co main - over 1.5

evloev vs mitchell - over 1.5

estevam vs zhalgas - over 1.5 potentially

MLs are unplayable here IMO unless you're shooting for underdogs (admittedly there is value in khaos, evloev and aliskerov MLs but i'm not overly confident about any of those)

Dober vs Frevola

The McKinney fight doesn't concern me with Frevola.  He definitely had no idea what he was ******* with in that fight.  But I still think Dober is going to be too much for him.  Good fight though.  Great matchmaking.

Ikram is by far my most confident look betting wise.  I cannot see a world where Hawes can win that fight unless he cracks him early and Ikram would have to be a complete ****** to allow that.

@rah neither is a lock. Heavy confidence in Khaos but he’s too sloppy to be a lock. I don’t like Bedoya tho, he’s unatheltic & I’ve seen him on wobbly legs multiple times against cans. He’s gonna get ko’ed

I think Frevola is a very dangerous dog here. I think he’s gonna wrestle when everyone is expecting him to stand and trade w dober

@thepro id stay away from aliskerov. No doubt he’s an amazing fighter, but I think stylistically this is a super tough fight? I’m picking him to win, but this fight is gonna test his skills. Hawes is a really solid wrestler on top of being a massive mw and having 100% tdd. Now, Ikram is a legit dagi wrestler, so of course his main weapons are bodylock takedowns, trips, all that good stuff. What I worry is that hawes is too big & has too good of a wrestling base, that Ikram might have to win this standing. Not that he can’t win on the feet, but I don’t really trust his striking

He has solid fundamentals & also likes to mix in flying knees, but people forget that hawes is actually a really good striker who also has really strong power. Now of course the issue with hawes is that he has a glass jaw; he can be winning every second of the fight but one solid punch and he’s on shaky legs.

Tl;dr Ikram should win, but I would be hasty going big on him since he may have to fight standing, where he is far from his best self. Again, not that he can’t win on the feet, but hawes definitely has the striking advantage by quite a bit

My only issue with Hawes is that he's knee got destroyed by Dolidze, And the Ref let him get KO'd  afterwards when he had no chance of winning, The Referee should of done his job, Or his corner should of thrown in the towel, The fight contuning after the knee bar piss me off

I was picking Hawes, But just that makes me want to swich my pick
