Because he has no choice. He looks so uncomfortable on the feet. Stots shouldn’t even attempt to shoot it’s giving Sabatello a chance imo

Stots probably has a better wrestling pedigree than Sabatello (I probably face better wrestlers in High School or College), but Danny is a good cardio heavy wrestling-grinder while Stots is a striker with an excellent wrestling background that helps him avoid takedowns and hold the stand up fight Tsarukyan has an amazing Sambo background but in the end of the day Gamrot managed a couple of takedowns and dominated in scrambles (even so for me Arman should have won that fight because of what he did in his striking), being the wrestler or grappler with the highest level It's not synonymous with an opponent who bases most of their weapons on his takedown attack not being able to take you down.

His Pedigree was stacked in high school so shush, didn't follow him in college but I know plenty about his Pedigree to know u haven't wrestled anybody that skill level lol

I’m sure he was a better wrestler at some point but at some point Stots focused on striking while Sabatello didn’t much and carried on improving his wrestling. He is alot like Colby because he uses submissions attempts to improve or hold position without ever really going for them. I haven’t seen many fighters so scared of getting hit though. When anything touches him he runs
