Honestly, I just don't think he's a modern heavyweight. Oversized guys got the job done in the 2000s, but in the 2020s, you are just going to get knocked out once you face the top 10. He's a fat light heavyweight or a big middleweight and not a heavyweight. Cannonier knocked out heavyweights once upon a time too

Rosas Jr hasn't deserved a prelim headliner, else they wouldn't have put him against someone like Perrin but an actually good fighter.

He needs to have an elite skill to make up for the physical disadvantage he's going to keep having. DC's wrestling, Werdum's grappling. He doesn't have an ace like that.

@Rah yeah this is definitely a set up fight and I think Perrin is salty because he knows he's the easy fight for the newcomer.

But it is what it is. Commentators will cream their pants even if it turns into a boring 15 minute decision with no action as long as Rosas is winning it like they did with Jauregis debut.
Not Rosas fault the UFC are acting all ********, he's in a spot where it would be a disaster if he loses thanks to how they're rolling out his debut.

Yeah, it's weird how hard they pushed Daukaus. Is he a big draw? I'm from Philly, but I don't think he's selling *that* many tickets.

The kickboxing GOAT does it again. Bigi Boy was tired of the "Frozenstruik" slander and decided to let his hands go.
P4P best kickboxer in the UFC and it's not even close.

On the contrary I don't think its a disater if he loses. It's win-win because if he wins, its badass that a kid is doing well, if he loses then hes just young and has developing to do.

Daukas definitely deserves a better match up next go round. He still has to be disappointed he couldn't get a win off of any of his last three opponents.

Nah hard to recover from losing to Perrin. I mean, who are they going to match him up with? He's in bantamweight, the best division in the promotion. It would highlight that the UFC was at least 2-3 years early on signing him if that happens.
Look at Hooper, *** is he going to do? Take 2 years off?

Chris Daukaus isn’t bad, he just lost his last 3 fights against Top 10 Fighters. It would be good for Daukaus to take time off (actually both brothers should take time off), go to a sports nutritionist and prepare properly to go to LHW and be given a fight against a more accessible fighter.

Many of us picked Rosa's but rooting for Perrin. Rosa's gotta be very excited for his first big fight. I think he just gets it.
