edmen looked in phenomenal shape and dalcha seems old as **** and must have dropped a lot of muscle mass

rosas looked phenomenal while jay perrin looked like a crackhead

saaiman looked really good as well

darren till is balding badly

rozenstruik even though a bit heavier than usual looked in good shape, daukaus looks like an obese woman

main takeaway is that i'm now leaning a bit heavier towards rosas, saaiman and rozenstruik than before

Yeah, I was willing to bet Da Silva again at over +200, despite him being a ****up, if he looked good on the scale. But apparently the fight got cancelled. I'm still undecided on Till. I don't know that I can trust where his head is at. I was looking to see if he looked good or bad on the scale and he looked..ok. Not awful but nothing special. Certainly not as cut or fired up as Du Plessis. I think Till is much more technically skilled but momentum and self-belief is so important in this sport. I'm watiing to see what happens in the ceremonial weigh ins.

After seeing the weigh ins and press conference my locks are Ankalaev, Rosas, Du Plessis and Paddy.

Think Topuria will win too but don't feel comfortable betting.

@ Rah123

I have thought the same thing a few times.  Thy can't have them lose so early. Rojas will be fed guys he cna beat for the next 2-3 years.  If Paddy beats Gordon, he will get at least 2-3 easier opponents and they will probably try to sneak ina title shot.
Remember how Conor had to beat Siver to get a shot at Aldo?  This was before Mendes came in to replace Aldo. I mentioned this and Conor lovers were blind to it.

I say beside Jiri vs Glover and Bo Nickal, most of the other fights that were cancelled were fights I didn’t really want to see, I still think it’s a pretty stacked card, nothing too big but it just have tons of fun fighter on it, I’m thinking the main event is the most boring fight on the card and that saying something

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 6 of 12 Winners, 0 Perfect, 315 Points   |   Tied for 4120th

Błachowicz vs. Ankalaev
Jan Błachowicz, TKO, R3
BOOOOOM!! POLISH POWER! Out Cold KO in the 3rd in a great fight, Left Hook lands cleanly on a increasingly-exhausted Ankalaev.

Pimblett vs. Gordon
Paddy Pimblett, TKO, R3
Ground and pound finish in a tough fight. A premium Gordon shows up to steal the show, Paddy has to dig into some grit and he does. Ground and pound, hammerfists.

Ponzinibbio vs. Morono
Alex Morono, DEC
Uni 30-27x2 29-28. Alex gets it done.

Till vs. Du Plessis
Dricus Du Plessis, TKO, R2
Spinning Head Kick lands, Dricus rushes and piles on ground and pound. Till doesn't drop, Ref steps in when Till can't intelligently defend.

Mitchell vs. Topuria
Bryce Mitchell, SUB, R2
Arm Triangle . Bryce Outgrapples Ilia in a tricky but fun fight. Could we see another twister?

Perrin vs. Rosas Jr.
Raul Rosas Jr., TKO, R3
Love a TKO prop. Raul looks to punish his opponent. I'll say its well on it's way to a 30-26/25 type scoring. Ref steps in when a crucifix can't be overturned. Vicious.

Rozenstruik vs. Daukaus
Jairzinho Rozenstruik, TKO, R2
Rozen is underrated af, I think Daukaus is tough and can withstand and deliver. Jairzinho's power gets it done. Out Cold and Bloody KO Clean Uppercut rocks, Headkick fin.

Shahbazyan vs. Lungiambula
Dalcha Lungiambula, TKO, R1
Out Cold KO, Left Hook.

Curtis vs. Buckley
Chris Curtis, DEC
29-28x2 30-27 Uni. I think Curtis has the tools but Joaquin tries to go for the highlight reel to his detriment.

Quarantillo vs. Hernandez
Alexander Hernandez, TKO, R3
Yuck, Ground and pound finish, some solid elbows.

Silva vs. Brown
Erik Silva, SUB, R1
Rear Naked, I know it seems to simple and I hate it but I'm going out on a limb.

Saaiman vs. Koslow
Cameron Saaiman, SUB, R2
This one hits the mt, I think Cam escapes a scary attempt and ends up tapping Koslow. RNC.

Predictions: 9 of 12 Winners, 1 Perfect, 530 Points   |   Tied for 1392nd

Błachowicz vs. Ankalaev
Magomed Ankalaev, DEC
will be interesting to see how the kicking range plays out, as i could see magomed trying to fight long and outside, but i also think he'll have the grappling advantage if forced to display it.

Pimblett vs. Gordon
Paddy Pimblett, TKO, R2
i just hope jared can test paddy's cardio a bit, he commits so hard to each shot. i'm not sure he'll get to push his own offense much though.

Ponzinibbio vs. Morono
Santiago Ponzinibbio, DEC
respect to morono for stepping up, but he has always looked a little thick at ww, i can't imagine the extra weight is gonna help him more than ponzi, especially on late notice.

Till vs. Du Plessis
Dricus Du Plessis, DEC
feeling like dricus will sting till at some point and be able to take him down if necessary.

Mitchell vs. Topuria
Bryce Mitchell, TKO, R1
honestly i think bryce is a little overrated considering what barboza has looked like in recent years. ilia hasn't been taken down in the ufc and i think he has the power to take mitchell's head off, just a matter of if he gets caught over-committing and gets his back taken. still think he might find a way to get out.

Perrin vs. Rosas Jr.
Raul Rosas Jr., DEC
i'm sure there will be moments where rosas looks far too green, but i'm not concrete on perrin's tdd so i have to think they picked this matchup with an intent.

Rozenstruik vs. Daukaus
Jairzinho Rozenstruik, TKO, R2
maybe daukaus comes in and wrestles? otherwise i'd think he's on the wrong side of the power/chin edge.

Shahbazyan vs. Lungiambula
Edmen Shahbazyan, TKO, R2
seems like an appropriate step down after a year off and 3 ranked opponents, i'll say edmen makes good on the opportunity and catches dalcha overextending.

Curtis vs. Buckley
Chris Curtis, DEC
i don't think curtis is gonna be scared of buckley's power like most would be and i think his cardio lasts longer.

Quarantillo vs. Hernandez
Billy Quarantillo, DEC
billy's got a chin and better cardio i'd think.

Silva vs. Brown
Erik Silva, SUB, R2
this is another one where i don't really know what'll happen, but i at least see that silva has been fighting some guys with decent records so i'll go with consensus.

Saaiman vs. Koslow
Cameron Saaiman, TKO, R2
neither seem very well seasoned so i'm just gonna take the guy that has at least fought someone with a winning record.
