For all his problems with PEDs, anyone that thinks Josh Barnett is only the #12 ranked heavyweight on the planet is smoking that good herbal remedy.  I have him ranked at #3, for example.
Babyface is 26-5, with three of those losses to Crocop.  Check out the dudes he's fought and defeated on a consistent basis and then explain how someone like Brett Rogers can be ranked ahead of him.
I'm not a huge Barnett fan necessarily but credit where credit's due . . .
Babyface.

Barnett is going to win the GP so even if you don't have him top 10 right now, he will be soon.

Well of course since I still have Overeem, Silva and Kharitonov in my list ^_^ That's if he wins.

I would say the favourites rankings goes like this (from most favourite to least favoruite to win the tourney):
1) Silva
2) Kharitonov
3) Barnett
4) Overeem

I haven't updated mine yet but I don't really like having Schaub as my #10 even if he beats Nog I think I'll have the winner of Barnett/Kharitonov take his place

I had overeem ahead of dos santos but i changed that due to the past fights for each of them.  Dos santos had a much better victory.  I move barnett to 9 because hes always been a top hw and just was inactive due to his test results.  Also I had to bring travis browne in after his impressive ko victory and i think hes a solid up and comer.

I don't know if I'd have him at #3, but he's definitely top 10.

I always like looking at other people's rankings.  It's interesting to see how people come to their rankings.  I guess a lot of people just do it by perceived talent or potential?  Mine are by quality of recent wins and losses.  It makes for confusion sometimes, like currently at heavyweight.

I have Overeem at 4 now because he beat Werdum, but you have to have Silva right before or after Werdum in my opinion because they both have recent wins over Fedor and other quality recent wins.  Lesnar could be lower, but if he returns soon and gets a top ten win he can stay.

I had Nelson at 10 and Nogueira out due to inactivity, but with Nelson being outclassed by Mir and Nog getting a fight scheduled I bumped him back in.

@Dakej - How does Fedor make your list then? His last 2 HW fights were losses and before that he beat Arlovski and Rogers who both are on losing streaks and nowhere near top 10 HWs...

My list is based somewhat on recent appearances but also on who I think would beat one another based on what I've seen from each fighter.

Arlovski was still top ten when they fought as I recall (could be wrong), but I may have him too high still I admit.  I guess after a streak that long it's hard to drop him fully from the top 10, and I'm not even that big of a Fedor fan.

Barnett sneaks into my top 10 due to his dominate win over Rogers (who drops out of my top 15 entirely) and due to previous #10 Nogs inactivity. The winner of Nog vs Schaub could very well overtake Barnett after UFC Brazil. There will be a lot of movement in the HW division this year.

This is a hard division to rank. But I had to keep Overeem ahead of Werdum, and I had to keep Werdum ahead of Bigfoot Silva since he decisioned him recently.  Schaub and Nogueira are on the the outside looking in.

I haven't updated mine yet. I'm hoping I don't have to bump Nogueira out of the top 10, but I will if I have to. I had Silva higher than Werdum before Werdum's loss (based on that fight being razor close and Bigfoot showing dramatic improvements since then) and now I think it's even further justified. I think the argument for Barnett above Nog could be made, but I think I'll wait for his fight against Kharitinov for that. Nogueira may be coming off a knockout loss, but it is to the current number 1 guy, and his win before that (Couture) is more impressive than Rogers to me. I think Fedor should be out of the top 10 too. He is coming off 2 bad losses, and is probably dropping to LHW any way. All of this doesn't really matter though as at 134 Nogueira will likely lose and drop out of semi-relevancy entirely.

Bump Nog for now and if he wins at Brazil put him back. He's been out for a year + and that's the only reason I slipped Barnett ahead. If Nog had fought and beat anybody he would still be above Barnett and beating Schaub will definitely put him back at #10 for me.

As for Silva and Werdum and Reem order. I think Silva looked much more impressive in his win over Fedor than either Werdum or Overeem. I see this loss as more dragging Werdum down that pushing Overeem up. It was a bad enough performance by both men to not out do Silva's dominate performance over Fedor. Now that the top HWs are all under the Zuffa umbrella there will be far less speculating about who will win and we will see some actual results.
