Instead of spamming the boards everytime I see some cool news, I’ll post it here. I’ll also keep track of prospects I like, new signings to ufc/dwcs/Bellator/etc.

Does this mean no more Rizin crossovers? 

Starting to wonder if the entire point of Powerslap is to just soften public perception so that when the UFC buys BKFC, nobody bats an eye or thinks it's remotely weird.

Can yall imagine guys like Conor or Strickland in BKFC? Madness. 

Conor would never do BKFC - his ego would not allow him to get in a BKFC fight.  His face might be smashed too much.  I bet Eddie Alvarez would salivate at the opportunity to fight him though.

@random yes they can, but that also means they would be limited to the Bellator only cards, of which pfl is only going to do 8 cards a year. Granted, most champs will likely fight 1-2 times a year as it is but they shouldn’t be limited imo; especially considering there will be new names in the mix

Does this mean MVP is moving to PFL considering all the news about the Merge?

Nah cuz he left Bellator. He might just be thanking them now that they are officially gone. I think his next fight is either going to be boxing or ufc 

ah gotchu. Also apparently Mix and eblen won't be in the PFL champ vs Bellator champ card cos of their lack of those two division. 

PFL won't be able to compete if they purposely split their roster around 5 separate organisations. Bellator's management is terrible and being owned by PFL won't change that, they should just wipe that **** away, absorb all the fighters and while they're at it get rid of the regional promotions, the more good fighters in a fighting league the better, people would rather watch one amazing competition than 5 separate mid ones. Reeks of trying to get as much money as possible by having as many promotions as possible, and the regional leagues are a misguided way of trying to suck up to continental fan bases who would much rather see their fighters fight the best from other places in the world. Then again PFL aren't the sharpest tools in the shed, they still advertise Kayla Harrison like she's a draw and give away 8 million in bonuses every year for cards that get under 50k buys. Wanting a good UFC competitor doesn't mean you should bow down to an inferior product, the people who run these promotions are ******* stupid, and they wonder why theirs a monopoly in the sport

They have outstanding contracts with thing like providers or merchandise deals so I think that’s why they have to keep Bellator. They aren’t going to run it forever 

I think another reason they have it split is to whittle down the contracts of people who recently resigned with Bellator (mix and eblen for example) so that by the time they dissolve Bellator it will make contract negotiations easier

When ufc announced the deal with venum I thought all ranked fighters will be able to customise their shorts, at least top 5 guys or champions.

I still wish there's more fighters who can do it

Zhang vs ribierio has been rebooked to ufc 298. That fight deserved to be in front of a crowd

Also talita alencar has been sig ed to the ufc per her instagram. Unsure if it’s a short notice replacement or not. Weird signing considering g she fought ot a draw on dwcs 

Also that custom shorts thing is big, the ufc doesn’t usually let fighters design their shorts. I thjnk they know ilia is special 

if I had it my way everyone would be able to but oh well
