its a banger for sure. I thought they were gonna do Maheshate vs either Nasrat or Mullarkey on UFC china but they instead did Nasrat vs Mullarkey on UFC China and left the only chinese guy out of the mix lmao

Movlid Khaybulaev has allegedly retired from mma. Javier Mendez said on a podcast that he has retired due to eye injuries. Really sad if true, he was one of the best fighters outside the ufc but couldnt fully showcase his potential due to the pfl tournament format

Pfl is launching a reimagined Bellator product in 2024 called the “Bellator international championship series”

It will be 8 events and each event will have 2 championship fights 

He says the pfl franchise now consists of: 

PFL regular season
PFL PPV
PFL challenger series
PFL international leagues (they’re expanding to more than Europe. Want to do Australia and Africa as well) 
And now Bellator 


Sounds kind of stupid imo but this is big for mma as a whole so I’m okay with it

I hope that Champ vs Champ event is the first ppv of 2024. Probably going to do it in Saudi Arabia because of the new investment. That card has potential to be huge and rival ifc for one of the biggest mma events of the year if they do it right.

Don't know about anyone else but I'm cautiously optimistic.  Of course they have proving to do but the second and 3rd largest mma promotions merging to be direct competition for UFC is great for the sport, the fighters and the fans.
