Nolan king reported that Erin Blanchfield has a big fight in the works. He said the ufc and her came to an agreement that she should be fighting elite fighters. Probably getting a top 5 and I would guess she’s fighting at 285 but could come earlier

Happy that Erin will be fighting people on her level. That McCann fight was one of the most one sided beat downs in recent memory

One of my favorite prospects right now, Samuel bark, has just booked his SEVENTH fight this year. He will be fighting Orlando Wilson Prins at cage warriors 148. I am really impressed with bark he is definitely someone to look out for. He’s a little green tk mma but has been making improvements every fight and staying incredibly active. He came from Muay Thai where he was highly touted over in Thailand. He was know for his ko power and has translated it incredibly well to mma; he’s got some of the best knees in the sport imo. He is someone who I think is almost guaranteed to end up in the ufc by next year. If he works on his tdd and grgappling as a whole I think he will be very hard to beat

I do worry that Bark’s grappling will be his downfall though, that split decision loss against Loof showed that he’s willing to engage and has the strength/athleticism but I doubt his technique will ever catch up to someone with a wrestling base

yeah thats definitely his glaring hole. He showed some improvements in the akpan fight tho. It was sloppy as hell and you could tell akpan had negative grappling skills but at least he was getting out of bad positions and even crucifixed him. I also thought he won that look fight but that was really close

Yeah, some improvements for sure but not enough for me to feel at all confident that his ceiling is higher than a Joanderson Brito-type action fighter. I also thought he won that Loof fight for the record, pretty crazy that he’s won 4 since then and has a 5th booked while Loof has just had 1 fight that got cancelled
