I’m 90% sure the 29-29 scorecard was because of bad math, I think the judge meant 29-28 Gomis.

Gomis won 13 minutes of that fight and a judge saw it 29-29? Holy moly.

Seriously I think 90% of the people on this forum would make 100 x better judges than the absolute idiots we have judging MMA at present.

In general I like the idea of 10-10 rounds. I have no idea where they saw one in that fight though.

Maybe it was 28-28 and they miscalculated? SOmeone gave Errens 10-8 from the last maybe? ******** but would at least be a possible scenario.

Idk whats more stupid. Giving Errens a 10-8 for any of those rounds or giving a 10-10.

Di Chirico is 4-6 in the UFC and should really be 3-7 but got gifted the win vs Marquez but I still think he can pull it off here.
Hard to have any confidence though.

The more I think about it, the more I think maybe you should have to survive a submission attempt at the end of the fight. It’s basically “can’t be saved by the bell” for MMA.

Gomis was rocked and was was closest to being finished, why is everyone so surprised that it was a majority decision...? Gomis won by laying on his opponent and not doing ****.

Inherently suspicious of any fighter with a lot of fights and tape and named opponents, where I still don’t know how good they are. Di Chirico is still kind of a question mark.
