P1) Brendan Allen - not many holes in this fighter, still growing. A very tough challenge w/ Malkoun having tremendous abilities to get you on on your back as many times as he needs to win the fight. I don’t see this one going that way…Brendan Allen will do more than enough on the feet to force Malkoun to go stick to his normal gameplan bringing it to the ground. Exactly where I see the submission opening up for Allen.
P2) DANAAAAA! - why? Cuz this mf is the real deal and Saturday he will prove it yet again! Everyone gets caught the way he fights..this time he won’t be on the receiving end..
P3) Andre Fialho - as much as I love Jake Matthews, to me this just isn’t a good matchup for him. He’s only 27 but he’s been in the UFC for about 9 years, giving him experience but also diminishing his durability. Allen/Malkoun isn't one of them. Not sure I understand this fight to be honest. Allen has the frame of a LHW. Malkoun is 5'9. Malkoun out wrestling/grappling Brendan Allen for 15 minutes seems like an extremely tall task.
