Jacob Malkoun, DEC

Malkoun (the Aussie Khabib) has much better wrestling than Allen. Malkoun also has cardio for days. He will wear on Allen early and take over as the fight goes on. He will likely lose the first round but pick up the next two. Super confident. Aussie Khabib 29-28. And at those odds, certainly worth a medium size bet.

Glover doesn't have better striking then Jiri, Glover has better grappling

I don't know the last fight, Glover won with his "standup", He tend to lose on the feet, And win on the ground

I don't like how easily Reyes took Jiro down, and I don't like how Jiri looked when he was down there. If that had been glover on top he'd have napped.

Just putting it out there.

Other than Taila, Jiri should be the biggest underdog on the card.

Oddsmakers have had zero respect for Glover during this 6 fight winning streak... he's either been an underdog or a pick-em in each of his last 6 fights which he won them all.

Now he's still an underdog even as champ. It reminds me of Derek Brunson's winning streak when they made him a dog in each of those fights during that run.

Jiri vs Glover

Predictions: 6 of 11 Winners, 2 Perfect, 350 Points   |   Tied for 1531st

I am still torn on this.  I see a lot of people planting their flags.

Here is where I am at:

If this fight ends in rounds 1 or 2, except for a freak injury or jacked up neck due to a can opener, I think this is Prochazka all day.  However, you can't carry all of that quick twitch fiber and muscle without a cost.  Glover Teixeira can roll and roll and roll... and roll for hours if needed.  If this was a 25 round fight, Teixeira could roll all day on the ground.  He isn't going to gas himself.  The longer this fight goes, the more this is going to quickly favor the Teixeira side.

Odds wouldn't disrespect Glover if he wasn't in his 40s and getting rocked in most fights. Yes he has a remarkable ability to recover from it and he's defying all odds in terms of performing at that age but it is what it is, father time is undefeated and he could strike any time, might not be this time or the next but it's hard to have confidence in someone with that hanging over them every time they fight. Hence people are loath to bet him and the odds get to where they are.

I can't believe Jake Matthews is on your permanent fade list lol... Did you lose money on him?

My fade list has always been Solomon Renfro, Luke Reader (recently), Christian Edwards, and of course Cameron Else.  I have made so much money betting against Cameron Else the quitter, it's not even funny.

Man, I am watching film on Pascual and Edwards... I can't get there with Pascual.  This chick is complete can crusher.  She can take a beating, but I don't see how I can back her.  Anytime she has faced anything close to okay competition, she has been outclassed.

I had Brady by decision so yeah I had money riding on a Matthews fight. I'm not strict about maintaining such a list or anything but it doesn't necessarilly take a lot for me to put someone on it.

I mean I didn't like Drew Dober tapping to Makhachev when he did for example and he had no reason to continue fighting except the pride of surviving another minute so I get why he tapped.
Still not what you want to see as a bettor. You want people that would rather die than give up as a general rule, they'll fight for your money no matter what. Not that I think it's reasonable or anything to have such an expectation.

With that said, if Matthews redeems himself over a couple of fights I would consider betting him once again.

I think Jiri's going to win. No doubt, if Glover gets a hold of him for even a second, the fight is probably over. But he's visibly slow and shaky when striking, and Jiri will be able to find his openings to land multiple times. Glover also won't be able to grapple when he's hurt, because about 8/10 times when he's hurt, it's from long range striking. Jiri excels at that. And he's even better at placing his shots when his opponent is hurt. So I think Jiri can go in there and finish him off after hurting him 4 or 5 times
