I know, sad thing was I had totally no idea what school to go back then, so I decided to choose such profile, I would probably end up wasting 4 years either way. I probably could've gone to a language school to fix my grammar, practice my speaking skills and become a translator or some ****.

Nobody really needs translators anymore.

What do you want to do?

I want to be associated with sports in some way. Reporter, photographer, judge or something, I mean as of now. Can change quickly.

Then you should study journalism and photography. Even if you decide to switch careers (you probably will at some point in life) both will set you up with useful skills, and you'll always have work. Ariel Helwani began his career as a sports writer.

The business course i'd be looking to do would have a placement so as long as i don't have a secret extra chromosome lying about i have a decent paying job immediately after uni. Plus the placement year can net me decent cash to pay off most of my debt. I'm not one of these ******s who's gonna take some random arse course piss up the entire time and then leave with no skills but a piece of paper saying they can identify a picasso. I will be doing the pissup part though.

Plus i get the advice of living at home to save money but **** that. When you have parents like mine you'd rather live in a flat the size of a shoebox than with them

I used to work in finance as a young man. Boss was a real prick. Always fooling around on his wife. Drugs. The whole bit.

But he did tell me one thing that has always rung true: You can work for money, or you can make money work for you.

Sounds like a bumper sticker, but it's true enough.

Whatever you do in life to make money, you will still need to learn about money--a totally independent skill.

I for one was not impressed with the "Brutal KO" JJ suffered and the sport is less without her.
To be honest there is so little going on in WMMA every lady who retires is a big hit on the chin.
Also yeah most of higher education is BS but if you apply yourself, don't get too far in debt and pick a field you want to and can prosper just do it!

Boss sounds like a chad. I can't think of anything as appealing as working for myself. Not in a contractor self employed manor but being the boss way. But you got to start somewhere. Plus i lack some connections that can jumpstart me. Like i have one mate thats proper ******** but his uncle is the runs marketing for Unity so decent advantage.

@Fremen your English is quite good in relative terms. You're not meant to be Vladimir Nabokov at this point in your life. You've got time.

My advice is to read lots of books published in English.

To do that I have to start reading books in any language at first, it's pretty much a fight between behaving like an animal with necessity of constant dopamine delivery, or using your brain as a tool and go on a dopamine detox to grow as a human being by developing your imagination, language and brain processes through reading books, pretty much an issue almost everyone has when we speak of my sick and broken generation

mf'rs our age have never thought of having an adult live in a real way, thats the case, our generation is as socially awkward, clueless in basic things like using a hammer or a nail, getting to know people as it gets,

whats even more terryfing, mayo, is that people after us, lets say born in 2008 and later, have not seen a life outside the internet, ever, they are ****** up even worse than we are, imagine that

life used to be better before smartphones and instagram, way better, now instead of using technology as a help, we use it as our prison, when robots come in 5-10 years, our brains will work even less

the I, Robot movie's story is becoming more realistic every day
