Retirement was a smart move on Joanna's part. She no longer had anything to prove, she had a great career: UFC Champion, 5 title defense, defended the title against high-level Conteders like Claudia Gadelha and Jessica Andrade (who later also became a UFC Champion and is still a top contender to this date). she only had losses against 3 UFC champions (Rose, Valentina and Weili)

Santos has a bigger chance than Peña did imo (before the fight obviously) she has real power for a women she’s just too stagnant doesn’t move her feet so I think she’ll get picked apart
