Agreed bro. I did enjoy the fights on this card but they need more name value. You can't have fight nights one after another with no name value fights.

Problem is that the UFC gets money from ESPN regardless right? They just have to make sure the show goes ahead most weeks of the year. No matter how crap the events are.

Also Rob Font clearly has pillow hands and needs to diversify his style big time. He needs to learn to use his striking to get to a guys back. He has nothing for anyone in the top 5 fighting like that. 

I know Collier lost, I picked Arlovski and Tapology said Arlovski won. 

But Collier won the criteria which the UFC uses.

For those that don't know, Chito's daughter was born unable to form a smile. He was able to afford the procedure she had done after a few fights in the UFC, so she can smile now.

This is the start of the end Font's career, he takes too much damage

Probably not the right time to say it but vera seems to have a bit of a low fight IQ and it will cost him against the top 5. As for font it’s what I said it is. It would be competitive but Font is ahead in the rounds then doesn’t take a shot well and losses a round. That’s happened in 8 of his last 10 rounds

Definitely could use more name value but some good action at points too. I also enjoyed the hurt buts of wrong picks by people. That can be fun. 

I think its pretty clear now that Rob Font has chin issues. He will get KOd soon if someone with power who can withstand his volume and bodyshots fights him. Marlon could have finished that fight if he wanted to.

agree on the fight IQ thing. i find it weird how he pounced quick on Font with like 15 seconds left, but when he had like 2 minutes to work with he just stared at him...

Only thing i needed this card was yohan and fili, brutal for me but great night to be a chito fan can’t wait to see him FINALLY added to ufc 4

From placing 19th last week to this card, jesus that's a kick to the system. Somehow only lost 2.5u in it all, I'll crawl away and nurse my wounds.

Not his cardio, he's conditioning. Although cardio could be used in a like manner, I mean his ability to give and receive damage, not his ability to use energy

Yea durability is a factor for Font. Wonder if going up a class would help him. Chito is vicious though. 

Sometimes a beating is much worse than being KO'd in one hit. These last two fights for Font I think were much worse than if he had been knocked out by one punch. I don't think it's chinny he was knocked down 3 times, but not being flash knocked down by a rising knee when he's lowering his head has its merits (many take a hit like that and go unconscious).
Vera's Journey is incredible, from Ecuador to TUF Latin America, from alternating wins with losses, the winning streak that ended with that questionable loss against Yadong, to becoming one of the Top 5 in the division. I hesitated in his last 2 fights because Edgar and Font are constant pressure pace fighters, but both fights he won impressively.
I am happy to see myself wrong with the pick for this fight, I remember when after beating Andre Ewell I said when the UFC is going to defeat Chito against the Top 5 and although at the beginning it cost him today he reached the heights of the division.
O'Malley and his fanboys called Chito ''Journeyman'' because after beating Sean, Chito lost to Aldo (Aldo who is currently #3 in the division and with a legendary career), but Chito has shown what happened by step you can reach a great goal.
Hopefully his next fight will be against Petr Yan, that would be a great fight and a possible title contender fight.
