I have Ian Garry in a parlay but im starting to doubt my decision because I'm weary of how good Garry's takedown defense is against a decent wrestler in Weeks. Who you guys picking in that one?

Rozenstruik vs Tybura. This is a fairly close fight on paper. You have a striker vs grappler matchup. Rozenstruik has 1 punch KO power and Tybura does get hit a lot and rocked fairly often, he's also been knocked out 3 times in the UFC. On the other hand Rozenstruik isn't giving himself the best possible chance he can to finish fights with his low output counter style.
I would like to see Rozenstruik be more aggressive in this one as I don't think he needs to be as respectful of Tybura's power coming back as he had to be with some of his previous opponents.

Tybura is a very inconsistent fighter in my eyes, some fights his striking looks decent and in others it look like ****. I like it when he throws teeps and obliques to the midsection of his opponent but the best I've seen him with those were against Derrick Lewis years back. His weight also fluctuates up and down a fair bit. As far as I know he's been in Poland for his last couple of camps which usually results in him looking worse technically when he fights than when he's spent the time training in the US.

Rozenstruiks TDD isn't the best and he looks absolutely clueless on the ground so if Tybura can get him down with a couple of minutes left of a round that round should be a lock for him and he might find a finish with ground and pound as well. It is possible Rozenstruik is improving in that department though I do think he is the fighter that is more likely to have improved since last we saw them. Knees and uppercuts would be very effective for Rozenstruik when Tybura goes in for a double or body lock like the flying knee that could have sent Blaydes to the shadow realm if it had connected on his chin instead of on his neck.

Overall I cap it 55/45 in favor of Rozenstruik but this is a clear dog or pass fight in my opinion and I'm going to pass on this one unless the odds change.

@AyyLmaonnaise, I also feel that Ian Garry is overrated.  He thinks very highly of himself like he is the next Conor McGregor... I don't think so.  I think Weeks takes it too.

I think the Garry hype is definitely presumptuous. He doesn't fight like Conor, hasn't beaten anyone, and doesn't even have much of a personality like that aside from being Irish.

But I don't think Weeks is gonna be the guy to upset the cart.

At the same time, if he is as good as everyone says, maybe he was just nervous making his debut. But now he’s even higher placed on the card so maybe he gets nervous again who knows. Totally intangible but just something I was thinking about. Plus, if he was having trouble with Jordan Williams striking I feel like he will struggle with weeks. Weeks showed that he can continuously throw and brawl for three rounds straight with a notorious brawler in Bryan barberena. Toughest fight of his career on short notice too. He didn’t win but i thought it was decently competitive

But as fun as these last few Barberena fights have been, I feel like a patient striker with good leg kicks and a jab would cruise to a 30-27. The matchmaking has been fantastic, putting him with Matt Brown and Jason Witt. But these fights are happening in sort of a lesser circuit within the UFC. Like here's a couple EagleFC fights inside of a UFC card.
