Marina Rodriguez seems to be a pretty decent parlay peice. Xiaonan wont shoot for tds and I don’t see marina losing a striking match at 115

Who y’all got in the Moroz vs. Agapova fight? Sort of interested in this fight cause of the backstory between them, both former teammates who now have bad blood for one reason or another just like the main event. I’m leaning towards Agapova though.

i was thinking that. yan is a good striker for wmma but marina is on another level, but -250 is quite hefty for me.

if the line moves to the yan side, then i will likely play marina

agapova but the line is off. moroz is a good boxer imo, this wont be a cakewalk for agapova. but agapova is more well rounded and shows more promise.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 7 of 13 Winners, 5 Perfect, 540 Points   |   Tied for 2182nd

Covington vs. Masvidal
Jorge Masvidal, TKO, R2
I think Masvidal will be much harder to takedown than people think. Masvidal has really crisp boxing and I think he will work the body well.

dos Anjos vs. Fiziev
Rafael Fiziev, DEC
This is close actually for 5 rounds. Fiziev will get tired in the middle of the 4th, but I believe he does enough in the first 3 to win. 49-46 Fiziev.

Barboza vs. Mitchell
Edson Barboza, TKO, R1
I think we see something Masvidal-Askren-esque or Mitchell weathers the early storm and Barboza gasses and gets twistered.

Holland vs. Oliveira
Kevin Holland, TKO, R2
Holland will have huge size advantage and Oliveira did not look good against Price. I think hes done after this fight.

Spivak vs. Hardy
Sergey Spivak, TKO, R2
I think this is similar to the Vanderra fight, Hardy struggles with grapplers.

Turner vs. Mullarkey
Jamie Mullarkey, TKO, R2
Turner is really dangerous but Mullarkey is improving a lot.

Rodriguez vs. Yan
Marina Rodriguez, DEC
Rodriguez best striker in the division.

Negumereanu vs. Nzechukwu
Kennedy Nzechukwu, TKO, R2
Should be evens odds. Nzechukwu is slow starter, low output, and questionable chin, but it's hard to say how good Negumereanu is due to level of competition. Going to side with the size power and reach of Nzechekwu.

Moroz vs. Agapova
Mariya Agapova, DEC
That was the quickest fully locked in RNC I've ever seen.

Nurmagomedov vs. Kelleher
Umar Nurmagomedov, DEC
Nurmagomedov is good but Kelleher is defensively sound enough to stay out of danger on the ground.

Elliott vs. Ulanbekov
Tagir Ulanbekov, DEC
Ulanbekov will win but I think he struggles with top 10 guys. Good top control but very little damage or position advancement.

Jacoby vs. Oleksiejczuk
Dustin Jacoby, DEC
Both solid boxers, Jacoby has better kicks range management and volume.

AyyLmaonnaise of course she isn't getting a replacement ctfu. Any women who want to be a replacement in that fight are suicidal. I wouldn't even step up to fight Fiorot with a week to prepare.  We saw what happened to Ricci

IT will be a cake walk for Agapova if she fights how she fought Mazo

Predictions: 8 of 12 Winners, 4 Perfect, 540 Points   |   Tied for 2070th

JReynolds47 i know we talk privately in the fantasy matchup chat and rewatching WMMA isn't what you like to do haha BUT i'll recommend, rewatch Moroz vs Bueno Silva. Moroz was easily winning the fight with technique because Bueno is a brute tough girl, but when Bueno finally got her hands (actually an elbow) on Moroz, Moroz got her sh*t split in the 3rd, and went running for cover.

Picking Moroz and that "good boxing" would be like picking Kim all over again, except Moroz is the smaller woman so you don't even have that advantage in this fight.

They have history, bad blood. It's personal for Agapova.  She will hurt Moroz and the fight will change from there. Agapova will possibly finish her. -200 is a discount for Agapova

AyyLmaonnaise bro rewatch Klein vs Trizano. Trizano didn't win that fight, you weren't really wrong, you just didn't get the decision and it be like that sometimes. So yea stay away from that jawn

Klein does struggle with range so advantage Smith
Smith's chin is BBQ chicken so adv Klein

Smith got outpaced Mullarkey but he won't have to worry about pace with Klein. The fight will be a slow paced prom dance unless some1 finishes

AyyLmaonnaise Mullarkey just isnt skilled enough to ever be the oddsmaker favorite. His best attributes are strength and cardio, that's the making of an underdog haha. He really was a dog vs Khama Worthy, that was hilarious. Easy pick.

Turner is not losing to Mullarkey. He'll control range and likely pick Mullarkey apart. Maybe even finish. Turner is about to have a breakout 2022 IMO, just a hunch because of how he's been performing lately

Mullarkey is a dog in there

In the turner vs weaver fight it looked like turner was slowing down just a little. And Turners ufc wins have been all finishes. Mullarkey makes you work, and thats the type of fighter i like to back.

Turner skill for skill is probably better.

Both guys are young so expect improvements.

If Mullarkey gets to be a big enough underdog, then i might take the shot.

This fight and the Jacoby vs. Oleksiejczuk fight are my two favorites on the card

I agree with everything you said JReynolds47. As of right now it's very close to a pick em, -137 Turner +110 Mullarkey, so i don't see you getting your big dog wish. If you believe in him tho take him, +110 is plus money man, take it everytime if you believe

Who you got Jacoby or Mike O?

Dustin Jacoby vs. Michal Oleksiejczuk

Holy **** what a fight. This fight is 100% staying on the feet. Dustin Jacoby is from factory x(my favorite gym 😉), Jacoby is a damn good kickboxer, good fundamentals, can go a hard 3 rounds. His wins dont age well but he still beat everyone in front of him(except the draw to cutelaba). Hes 4-0-1 since returning. Also the kicks should play a big factor in this fight because Oleksiejczuk is mainly a boxer.

Now Oleksiejczuk is another one of those guys like Mullarkey, like John Castaneda, like Billy Q, that uses their cardio as a weapon. Oleksiejczuk is a pressure boxer that digs to the body. I love rewatching his fight with Gamzatov, it was so satisfying for me. And Oleksiejczuk actually moves his head unlike a lot of 205ers. Another thing to note is that Oleksiejczuk is like 26 so expect more improvements from him in the future.
