No way Matt Brown's fight with Carlos Condit was over a year ago now?!? Christ, I thought it was only about 5 months at most! I got food poisioning from a Chinese microwave meal I didn't microwave for long enough and this fight was the one of the few things that made that night bearable.

He's seriously underrated from being in the shadows of those two and honestly, on a good night, I recon could win against either of them. He'd lose most times but he certainly has a realistic chance and then some!

Saldaña did wait 90 minutes to weigh in though, he was the last on the scale even after the heavy weights and I think he looked drained. He has a history of gassing out in fights so naturally people are specualting on his form.
I still have him to win the fight because I think his striking is just outright superior and the matchup favors him. I just don't want to prebet on it given the abovementioned concerns.

rescheduling this fight was something I had been looking forward to from the moment Barberena beat Weeks. Both are among the most exciting fighters in the division, as both became known for waging wars in the octagon. Shaved Head Barberena (goated) will not be there, but Mohawk Barberena will be there and as we saw in the fight against Luque that is synonymous with an exciting fight. Despite arriving at the UFC with a 7-6 record, Brown always showed his quality as a fighter, even fighting a title elimination and having impressive KOs like that elbow against Diego Sanchez, but wars and age have taken away durability. For his part, Barberena in recent years had a serious spinal injury and internal bleeding that led to emergency surgery. Both fighters will give a wild fight until one of the 2 falls. It would be incredible if ''The Immortal'' at 41 years old achieved a victory in his hometown Ohio, but I think Barberena still has more durability left in the tank and will get a late stoppage win. I think there's a good chance this will be Brown's last fight and I think Barberena will beat him in his retirement fight, just like he did Ellenberger.

Gutierrez has great effectiveness from connected strikes and is a great leg kicker. With Leg kicks Gutierrez can reduce Batgerel's speed, explosiveness, and power, but throwing too many leg kicks would expose him to counter hooks from Batgerel (like Batgerel knocked out Guido Cannetti). If Guttierez gets past Batgerel's good start and works with a smart strategy he can take the fight 29-28 on the scorecards.
Dvořák vs. Nicolau

Of all the Underdogs, the one with the best chance of winning is Matheus Nicolau. Matheus Nicolau has good boxing, effective wrestling and a high level of BJJ. Dvorak has good striking, but Nicolau has undoubtedly faced much better opposition within the UFC than Dvorak. In this fight Nicolau has a very good chance of winning the fight if he takes Dvorak down and uses BJJ on him, instead of just standing up and trading. The main danger that Nicolau can have in the stand-up fight is being caught by a head kick from Dvorak.
