@AyyLmaonnaise, How do you know that they are not Covid Related? Most say undisclosed reasons and give no reason or follow up for pulling out of the fight.

I don’t really know but I feel like with the time frame they’re pulling out it doesn’t seem like covid. Greg hardy for example just pulled out because a finger injury. Plus only one so far has been reported as actual covid so idk

@AyyLmaonnaise i dont see the correlation between the timeframe and the pull outs? If anything with the record high covid cases right now, it would support the large number of fighters pulling out of fights.
Maybe something i am missing?

Idk just seems weird to me that they stay healthy all camp and THEN get covid within 2 weeks of fighting. It would make sense tho given that omicron is super contagious.

yea the last 2 weeks have been a record breaking disaster with covid. i was actually expecting massive amounts of fights being pulled. Just pray the main event stays. every other fight can be replaced

Yet another reason for me to be a broken record about extreme weight-cutting but I can't believe that sucking so much water out of your body doesn't affect your immune system. Plus maybe we could more easily get short notice replacements and fights would take place in the "proper" division.

We’re getting Fig at juicy dog odds. Moreno won’t defend the title successfully. Fig training with Cejudo and in incredible shape.

Early Picks

Predictions: 8 of 11 Winners, 1 Perfect, 480 Points   |   Tied for 249th

1. Ngannou KO
2. Figueiredo KO (Lock)
3. Topuria Sub (Lock)
4. Vieira Sub
5. Nurmagomedov Dec (Lock)
6. Morales Dec (Need to study this more - I think wrestling will be a factor)
7. Frevola/Valdez (Need to look into this one - not sure atm)
8. Gravely Dec (Lock - Saimon will spin and get taken down, and that will be that)
9. Hansen Dec (Almost a lock - I think Hansen is pretty good but need to study tape)
10. Barcelos Sub (Lock of the card - Barcelos is the real deal)
11. Pereira Dec
12. Demopoulos Sub (Switched my pick after listening to Santino De Franco)
13. Maddelena Dec (One for the Aussies!)

Any thoughts or comments welcome. I have a feeling that I am going to kill this card!

BTW when I say I think its a lock I mean the fighter pick, not the method of victory.

@Osantowski

Predictions: 8 of 11 Winners, 1 Perfect, 480 Points   |   Tied for 249th

Agree with both your points bro. I have Francis and Figueiredo too.

Only thing is that I do think Cyril deserves the hype unlike most hype jobs in the UFC nowadays. I just think that he does not have enough experience and that Ngannou has fast hands and will only need 1 shot. I doubt he has ever hit Gane with full strength in training (As Cyril is still alive and wants to take this fight) and I think he may get surprised as to Ngannous power. Sure he can avoid getting hit for some time but 1 shot in 5 rounds is all it will take and Francis is fast.

I think the hyped prospects who actually are worth the hype are Khamzat, Cyril, Aspinall, Suga Sean, Ilia Topuria and Shavkat Rakhmanov. Also think Melsik Baghdasaryan is really good but his last fight was very disappointing. And I also will say Islam Makhachev (though not a prospect) - I think he will be champion in a year, I think he is actually better than Khabib.
