I fell bad for Cody Garbrant more then anyone tbh, Dude won the belt in a fight which he didn't deserve, He was ranked in the lower part of the top ten, And his best win was Thomas Almeda, Afterward, He went 1-5 with 3 of the losses being KO,He at a high risk of getting cut now, I think he the biggest one hit wonder in UFC history IMO, He look increable agaist Cruz and look bad ever since,  now I don't understand how he beat Cruz in 2016, I was rooting for him to look good in this fight tbh, I like him and I want Cody to look good

At least Dustin have tons of good win, , same with Nunes, Or a few other fighter still have poitanal, Cody had one  good win, And got slept by everyone else, With no poitalal, And I'm really sad for him because I like Cody

Yeah I don't like what's happening to him. He's annoying, but I think his heart is in the right place. I think he should try his hand in Bellator or something though at this point. He's gonna get the Barao treatment from now on in UFC.

Personal opinion on those:

Love, give now!
Too soon for Morales, and Jose needs better competition, not a step down.
Good fight, makes sense.
Emmett kills him, no question, bad matchup.
Intriguing for sure, makes some decent sense in terms of matchmaking.
Great fight, but too early for Fiziev.
Great fight, I'd be leaning with Morono personally.
I'd have to finally take the Action Man, Chris Curtis, and I suppose it makes decent sense matchmaking wise.
Banger, what a matchup that would be. I'd personally be taking Muniz to continue his path of subs.
Another great one, would love to see it.
RIP Robertson, Blanchfield showed me today that she's going to be tough to deal with, especially for a stick figure like Robertson.

I just don’t think Cody’s brain/body can take it anymore. His miles ran too high between armature boxing (31-1), wrestling at a level to win a state title, was nationally ranked and if was a better student would have went d1 as a HS all-American. He also was an all-state linebacker. He spent months in a rehab for brain trauma. I love the guys heart and it’s sad but I really dont think he should fight anymore for any mma organization. It’s not my place to tell a guy not to do what he loves but….yeah, I fear for his future…and now.

Nunes?

Predictions: 8 of 14 Winners, 3 Perfect, 560 Points   |   Tied for 1650th

My brain isn't accepting what I saw last night. I refuse to believe Nunes threw that fight but I also can't believe she looked so pedestrian.

How did Nunes beat Shevchenko twice? Did I really just watch her get power jabbed into fit of rage that ultimately wilted her? There's a literal point where you watch Nunes go from whatever her game plan was to just punches in bunches out of what seemed to be genuine panic.

Is that why she tapped to a half choke? She knew even if she stood up she was spent?

Amanda Nunez Loss

Predictions: 8 of 14 Winners, 2 Perfect, 500 Points   |   Tied for 2430th

I like many didn't think Pena could get it done. However that didn't look like Amanda Nunez out there. I'm not sure how hurt Amanda actually was. It looked to me like she got tired and quit. Pena wasn't hitting her particularly hard but she was landing consistently. It's always interesting when you have that fighter who has been dominant for so long finally get challenged. It's fascinating to see how they will react. Sorta reminds me of Holm/Rousey. I expect there to be an immediate rematch.

Charles Olivera and Khabib

Predictions: 8 of 14 Winners, 2 Perfect, 500 Points   |   Tied for 2430th

Khabib isn't coming back, but it's fun to think about this match up. Khabib never loses, but Charles is like the perfect counter. jiu-jitsu counters wrestling. That would be a fun fight to see play out.

After seeing Dustin lose a title fight again I ate a lot of hotdogs wrapped in pretzels. Sure I got the main event right, but at what cost?
