Bagautinov vs. Provodnikov
Ruslan Provodnikov, DEC
WUT!!!!??? Ali Bags vs Provodnikov!!!!! I'm pretty sure that this is boxing not MMA. Bagautinov has had a couple of boxing matches, 1 end of last year. Provodnikov was 1 of the very best action fighters of the 2010's,check highlights of his war vs Bradley! This is something that I never expected to see today!!!

Mikey, tomorrow Friday will be the press conference, it is not yet known if it will be under Boxing, MMA or personalized rules.
I imagine it will be an exhibition under modified rules, but I do not rule out anything.
It will be a journey for Ali if it takes place in MMA, obviously.
But the weight difference is abysmal if it is disputed under the rules of the box, provodnikov was welterweight if I am not mistaken but currently ?????⬆️⬆️⬆️.
Tomorrow will be revealed

No worries mate.
I read on BadLeftHook that it was boxing, but they probably don't know much about the exact details either. I mean this just came out of nowhere!!!
Bagautinov did box last year at 135lbs so he's not a total novice. But Provodnikov was a genuine World level talent, he was a wild man! But still multiple levels above Bagautinov in boxing terms. And yes, he was a Welterweight, but boxing Welter is 147lbs so not a huge difference.

I just never expected to see this. Also, did you see that Artem Lobov is facing Ukrainian Olympic boxer and WBO International Champ Denys Berinchyk in a Bare Knuckle event in Russia that takes place in a warehouse, surrounded by hay bales with the fighters topless and in jeans!!!!!
*** is going on in Combat Sports at the moment??????

Yes, I know.
He will fight in Ukraine at Mahach FC.
Lately there are a lot of Bareknuckle events in Russia and Ukraine.
Lobov no longer knows what to do to earn money🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Ali Bagautinov, SUB, R1
If Bagautinov loses to a debuting fighter it's such a huge upset I could hardly wrap my head around it. I don't care if he's an experienced boxer

@Mikey1903

What he's saying is that Bagautinov would take advantage of Provodnikov's obvious lack of takedown defense and ground skills in an MMA fight.

Thanks for translating Tepid!!! Haha!

Yeah, I get it, MMA guy beats boxer in MMA.

I'm just saying that it wouldn't be the huge Upset if Provodnikov battered him. Provodnikov wasn't a technical boxer, he was a Savage from the Siberian wilderness!!! he wrestled too. So the lack of takedown defence isn't obvious. Also size!! I'm not trying to argue, I'm just pointing out some things that make this interesting to me

I'm also pretty sure that this is a mixed rules match, if not just straight boxing
