I Wonder if that same sage had ever encountered  someone who considered themselves an oracle on an MMA website despite having a pick percentage less than the statistical average of simply picking the favourite every card. And who just got beaten by a whitebelt.

I don't care about you being a white belt. IT'S A VIRTUAL BELT HAHA You fit right into the group of loser you're gonna be "sword fighting" with in these forums. You gotta go actually accomplish something instead of talking about an invisible belt. A white belt wouldn't know that PPVs are the easiest cards to pick, and brag about doing well on 1... bravo son.

The old adage 'The Foxey can't smell its own hole' is fairly apt here I suppose. What you're suggesting I'm doing is exactly what you yourself do routinely, and it forms the entirety of your identity on the site. You berate others for not paying you deference, and yet you are simply not exceptional at breaking down nor predicting who will win any given bout at any time. I did not simply pick favourites. I picked Turner, Nazrat, and whoever the bum was who fought Diaz's prodigy. I do not care whether I win an event or not, and assume if I'm picking against the line favourite, I am probably going to be wrong. I am simply pointing out that I was able to beat you, throwing away picks on guys who were probably going to lose, in the hope you might develop some self awareness. Alas, m'lord. Yet again, I have failed you.

Did you know that the less intelligent and/or competent somebody is, the less they are prone to doubt, and the more certain they are of their own competence and intelligence? There is a term for this, and it is call the Dunning-Kruger effect.
