So shocked more people aren't going Shahbazyan... He didn't do well against Brunson, but that's only because his gas tank is bad. He's an elite striker and Hermansson is prone to getting hurt early in a fight so I think Shahbazyan closes the show in the first few mins when his gas tank is still running.

Too soon for Chandler to get a title shot

In the hypothetical case that a person has a good resume working in another company, I doubt that the company will offer him the position of CEO if the company that hires him has equally or better prepared people who have much more time in the company.
Chandler only has a 1-win streak within the UFC (Impressive win over Dan Hooker) and for his second fight the UFC schedules him to fight for the vacant title.
I imagine the original fight would be Poirier (ranked # 1) vs. Charles Oliveira (ranked # 3 with an 8-win streak), but there's the trilogy issue pending with Conor McGregor (a very lucrative fight for the UFC and both fighters involved). Then the UFC also displaces Justin Gaethje (ranked # 2) who, although he came from losing, this loss is against the now retired Khabib Nurmagomedov (who was UFC champion since 2018 and still considered # 1 P4P) who cut his streak of 4 consecutive victories.
It doesn't make sense for them to schedule a fight for a "vacant championship" if the ranked # 1 is not involved (and in this case the ranked # 2 is not involved either).
