Mullarkey vs. Worthy
Khama Worthy, TKO, R3
This is gonna be a war and I can't wait to watch it. Mullarkey is a grisled veteran with a 12-4 record who brings a wrestling heavy gameplan and he is tough as a 2 dollar steak. Go watch his war with Brad Riddell if you want to get an idea for how tough this dude is. Worthy is also a veteran will a 16-7 career record, all losses were by finish (6Ko's 1Sub). Mullarkey made weight but did not look good on the scale and was very low energy at the weighin. That worries me seeing as his gameplan of wrestling Worthy and accumulating top control will be hard to implement with a tough weight cut. I see Mullarkey using his wrestling to control the first 2 rounds, running out of gas in the 3rd and getting finished by Worthy. This is a potential FOTN candidate, this will be a bloodbath and I cant wait to watch it. Worthy to win in the 3rd is +900 right now and I am taking a long look at that.

Whenever Fishrat's lurking, I can count on an automatic downvote. No matter what I'm talking about. Dude's got a weird fixation. He's straight up writing fanfiction about me at this point.

Robertson vs. Maverick
Miranda Maverick, DEC
This is going to be a grappling heavy war. In robertsons 9 UFC fights over 75% of the total cage time in those fights have been spent in either ground control or clinch control. It is crystal clear that Gillian is not comfortable striking in the center of the cage with her opponent. Gillian prefers to grapple whenever possible and will shoot takedowns, clinch up or even pull guard to try to force grappling exchanges and go for subs. Maverick showed a solid Muay Thai striking game in her last fight with Liana Jojua, earning a 1st round doctors stoppage win after opening up a huge cut on Liana's nose. Robertson is the more experienced martial artist, however, even though Miranda is only 23 she is not short on MMA experience herself. This is going to be a hotly contested grappling war between two young ladies with bright futures. I'm leaning Maverick here, I think her striking advantage will be enough to edge out a win here but I definitely see Gillian going for and getting takedowns early but I think Mianda is more than capable of surviving Gillians ground game. Maverick is quite a prospect, its interesting to see how she will handle this challenge.

There's only one person in the history of this board who enters their picks in the form of right wing sci fi fantasy fiction. Then that guys gets banned, and suddenly the night before a big card a new guy shows up with the exact same writing style and same exact grudges?

It's not exactly trying to piece together a great mystery.

Almeida vs. O'Malley
Sean O'Malley, TKO, R1
I remember thinking to myself after the O'malley/Vera fight that I'm not betting on this guy O'Malley anymore because his durability issues are too well documented at this point. In 6 UFC fights he has been stretchered out of the cage twice and he actually won one of those fights! Thomas Almeida is clearly a hand-picked opponent to get Sean back on track though. Almeida has been knocked down on 1.68% of the significant strikes landed against him thus far in the UFC so saying he has chin issues is an understantement. FDGTD feels like a really safe bet here because either Almeida wins via leg kicks or O'Malley chin checks Almeida and sleeps him. I'm picking O'Malley by 1st rd KO but FDGTD is in my opinion a much safer bet.

@TWJake

It's not even just r/mma it's the whole website there's just a certian hive mind weirdness to the people that go on there. If you wanna make money go to r/sportsbook and fade their mma picks they are usually historically wrong with the hive mind "well upvote posts picking this guy and downvote those that don't pick him because I'm 9" picks, especially main events.
