Miocic vs. N'Gannou II
Francis N'Gannou, TKO, R2
It's Francis's time. Stipe's getting old. I do believe the longer the fight goes, the better his chance. Francis will catch him in the early to mid rounds

Woodley vs. Luque
Vicente Luque, DEC
Woodley's washed. I'm to big a rap fan to root for Woodley after his pathetic rap song/video. I saw a stat that he hasn't won a round since making that song. I don

Wrestling drains the energy quicker than anything

Predictions: 6 of 10 Winners, 0 Perfect, 330 Points   |   Tied for 2858th

Its the reason a lot wrestlers in mma do not use it much except for defensive wrestling like Justin Gaethje...
Khabib used offensive wrestling successfully but he put his body through a lot. He could only defend his belt twice and then quit... or retire.
  •       One - he could not move up a weight class above Lightweight - because against BIGGER STRONGER opponents  -- it would be nullified.
  •      Two - for Khabib to remain a dominant wrestler... He had to cut 40 - 50lbs walking around weight.  This is the reason why Tony Ferguson kept calling him FAT and Tiramisu Khabib. Having a huge weight difference over your opponent in fighting makes a HUGE difference in holding them in place and pressure. Think about Jan Blachowicz  vs Israel Adesanya... Israel could usually defend takedowns and get up but against bigger opponents - Its tremendously hard !!!
  •      Three - its also very boring to the audience.   Wrestling is actually boring except in certain circumstances.  Think about all the years Jon Fitch would dominate and get wins against opponents but it was so boring!! No One liked it much -- WHY?  because he did not add the other elements of offensive wrestling to it much and /or BJJ submissions and ground n pound finishes.
  • What FIGHTER wants to be in 3rd round or later championship rounds with burning lungs ( can barely breathe) ... so exhausted can barely lift their arms to protect themselves let alone throw punches.  As we have seen this before in multiple fights that have guys who FOCUS on muscles and looking like an action figure instead of making sure they are well-prepared with endurance and conditioning.

I just don't feel like Ngannou has evolved. He's still the same fighter that Miocic handled the last time. Am I wrong?

@buffalo ben I agree with you but Miocic is probably not as good in wrestling transition at 38old then he was at 35. Still think Miocic win this one but its a hard call.

Miocic vs. N'Gannou II
Francis N'Gannou, TKO, R1
Not going to overthink it. Sorry.

Woodley vs. Luque
Vicente Luque, TKO, R3
it would make my day if Luque sent Woodley to bellator, but odds-wise, Woodley is a good bet at +200

Almeida vs. O'Malley
Thomas Almeida, TKO, R2
"Drop foot" my ass

Robertson vs. Maverick
Miranda Maverick, SUB, R2
I've never picked a Robertson fight correctly, so bet on her if you want a good chance at making some money haha

Mullarkey vs. Worthy
Khama Worthy, SUB, R1
You think I'm gonna pick against the Death Star? That's Mullarkey, Jack!

Menifield vs. Cherant
Fabio Cherant, SUB, R1
I think he can sink in a choke when they're both completely gassed by 3:30

Gooden vs. Nurmagomedov
Abubakar Nurmagomedov, DEC
******* Nurmago-dumbass busted a massive parlay by falling into that triangle, but Gooden is only one year removed from fighting a 3-13 can so I don't think he has the potential for an upset like Zawada did.

Bukauskas vs. Oleksiejczuk
Michał Oleksiejczuk, TKO, R1
You know who wins by first round KO a lot? Oleksiejczuk. You know who loses by first round KO exclusively? Bukauskas. Again, I'm not gonna overthink it.

Azaitar vs. Barriault
Abu Azaitar, DEC
How is power bar still in the ufc?

Stipe knows that Francis has a puncher's chance but if you watch his shoulders you can predict where he is throwing his punches. Body movement ...  Francis Ngannou is devastating with his power, but if he doesn't land -- Francis is like a 3rd grader bully who got exposed.  Everyone loses that fear to him.

Prediction Comments

Predictions: 8 of 10 Winners, 3 Perfect, 505 Points   |   Tied for 425th

Miocic vs. N'Gannou II
Stipe Miocic, DEC
Jus gotta say... I reeeally applaud the 1% who chose Ngannou by ******* Decision. Haaahahaha. He either KO's him, or loses. Lets be real.

Woodley vs. Luque
Vicente Luque, DEC
Tyron is most likely on the chopping block already... A loss here.....Absolutely terrible for his UFC career. Gooodbye Tyron.

Menifield vs. Cherant
Alonzo Menifield, TKO, R1
Fabio Cherant Just Is Not Ready... And then you put Alonzo Menifield in front of him...... Yikes.

Gooden vs. Nurmagomedov
Abubakar Nurmagomedov, DEC
Lets be honest here... If Jared Gooden had issues with Mike Graves taking him down with minimal resistance, Abu will have NOOOO Prob either. And considering Gooden is still the same stiff, power puncher, I don't expect anything much different.

Bukauskas vs. Oleksiejczuk
Michał Oleksiejczuk, TKO, R1
I love the UFC's matchmaking sometimes... Lol. Both dudes coming off of losses in which they were finished by Jimmy Crute. One KO'd, the other Subbed. Both guys are still pretty young, with lots of tread left on the tires. I just think RIGHT NOW, Oleksiejczuk is the more polished product. And I'm really thinking, this "Could Be" a contender for "Round of the Year" cos that's about how long I expect this to last, until someone closes the show. We get to see who can hurt the other the worst. Both of these dudes, take shellacking's only to come back and finish their opponent who gassed themselves trying to finish them... So it should equate to a goood ol fashioned slobber-knocker.

Azaitar vs. Barriault
Marc-André Barriault, TKO, R2
Wow. Ooooookay. Little surprised by 82% taking the guy who hasn't had a fight in 31 months, and ONLY has that 1 fight 2.5+ years ago, Just that 1 Fight in the last 4.5 years. And he's just average at best, so with all that Inactivity, Maybe the other "Just Average" fighter in Barriault can crack him early and before Azaitar re-acclimates to the fight game. And this is even after I refused to ever back Barriault again.... What's that saying. Sheeeesh.

It's literally the same fight all over again, we're just trying to see if Francis will land that KO punch this time. Francis is the same weight he was for the first fight, and it's the heaviest he's fought at. So if this leaves the first round and he doesn't KO Stipe, he is going to be gasping for air for the remainder of that fight and Stipe will just have his way with him.
