First off, let me say that Belal is a absolute dog for taking this fight and fighting twice in a months time. That being said I believe leon edwards is absolutely the kinda fighter that ring rust shouldn’t effect. He’s very strong mentally and his will to compete will see him through. Now onto the actual fight, I can’t see belal being able to pressure leon too much and imposing his wrestling on him. If anything I think leon will be the one scoring with takedowns. This is a great fight to get Rocky those rounds he desperately needs to stay active and chase that belt.

Well, you're right that picking Jason Witt isn't a mad pick as I'm not picking a +500 underdog or something but it was more that the round and method seemed unlikely. I picked a 3rd round submission simply because my gut told me to lol. The more I think about it, the more I'm leaning towards Witt to win a decision. I even think Witt to win by a KO is more likely than a submission but I've still gone with a submission simply because that was my gut feeling when I first heard of the fight and even after seeing strong evidence to suggest that it will go the distance, I still couldn't shake off that feeling that it would end by a 3rd round submission so I just said "**** it!" and picked that. Even if I'm right with picking Witt, I don't expect the extra points for a correct round or method and I certainly don't think that will be a perfect pick.

I am personally leaning towards Jason Witt for this one because he has more experience and has foughter stronger competition but it should be a good fight either way.

You're right about there being value on the Witt VS Semelsberger fight not going the distance. The current odds for it are:
Fight goes to a decision = -175
Fight doesn't go to a decision = +135
It'd be even more interesting to see what the prop odds for Witt via 3rd round submission are when they drop.

Regardless of the odds, I'll stick £5 on it and see what happens! I'm not confident enough to put any more than a fiver on it but I never really bet heavily anyway. The most I've ever put on a bet was £50 on a football (soccer) double that lost.
