Masvidal would utterly smoke Edwards IMO. Edwards is a very good fighter but he's too muay-thai based and can't really handle pressure. He also doesn;t hit hard and is a death-by-a-thousand-cuts kind of guy...he's got nothing for a maniac Boxer like Masvidal. Basically the next guy who beats Masvidal will be a boring ass sausage sniffer like Usman or someone with big, clean power. An attrition fighter has zero chance of beating him. It will always look like the Nate fight.

@Hyrm not outwrestled, he just couldn't get Maia off him. Edwards isn't 1/100th the BJJ guy Maia is. The fight would stay standing and Masvidal would rip his plug out. 95% confident on that.

"Falling in and outta love witch u"!!!!

Elliott vs. Royval
Brandon Royval, SUB, R1
Royval has potential. He's been smokin fools in LFA after a couple setbacks, loss too Kenney doesn't look bad at all after seeing Kenney pick up a couple nice wins in UFC. Elliot is about as toughva veteran you can get on your debut but I think Royval can handle it. Elliots habit of throwing himself into trouble during scrambles is likely gonna cost him,,, again!!!

Quarantillo vs. Carlyle
Spike Carlyle, TKO, R2
The Alpha Ginger!!! This guy is nutz!!!! I'm still not sure if it's a good thing or not but I'm gonna stick with him for now!!!

@Mikey I thought about picking the ginger ninja. He's sloppy as **** but entertaining, rounded and tough. Could be an awesome fight. Also agree on Royval, way too good off his back. He hits another sub here.

Ok guys plz correct me if i'm wrong but Brok "Chata Tuska" Weaver seems to be like one of those guys who kills on the regional scene but is just a step below UFC competition imo. He was getting grapple ****** by Vargas (who's terrible as well) before he had a brain lapse and went Pride rules on his ass. I think Rosey should legit smoke him in under 5 minutes. He's got some of the better boxing in the division and I think he turned it around on the mat after the Vinc Pichel fight. He spanked Yakolev in his backyard on short notice if i remember correctly this should be a massacre

If Masvidal vs Edwards would be on the stand up then Masvidal would smoke him but if Edwards would be able to take him down and ground and pound him he could win or at least control him on the ground

This is another one of those matchups that we'll look at 2-3 years from now & say "How were they on the Prelims?" They'll both be ranked or near the top 15 in a couple years. Think of this matchup like the Calvin Kattar vs Shane Burgos & Conor McGregor vs Max Holloway. Basically, both of these gentlemen have very bright futures in the UFC

"If T Woodley didnt have the Usman L, what would the line be vs G Burns? -300?"

"I see Woodley dominating Burns the way Prazeres did. The power will be too much,

Woodley has some of the most underrated striking in the UFC. I don't see Burns having success with the takedowns"

@Lew i completely agree about Brok Weaver. I just dont see anything, the skills or athleticism that shows me he will have a successful UFC career. He had a exciting fight on the contender series, make a huge scene calling out Dana White, and used his Native American culture to push his career. Plus he has the look that alot of fans/ufc brass like, crazy hair and covered in tattoos. All of this will get you into the UFC but now you have to win fights

This fight will be good because i enjoy watching Woodly fight when he fight someone who bring the fight to him because he either Starchs them or loss a  50-42 decision, The Woodly fight that suck when the other fighter doesn't fight aggresive fight like Wonderboy, Maia and most then likely Edwards.
