Goulamirian vs. Bejenaru
Constantin Bejenaru, TKO, R9
This is a GREAT fight! IMO it may just be the best fight of the weekend! I know Gervonta Davis is fighting, but he's up against an almost 10 year past his prime Gamboa who's soul is still wherever Terrance Crawford put it after he decimated him in 2012!!! You got Badou Jack vs Jean Pascal, another past his best guy who kinda lucked his way into the title vs an injured Marcus Browne who coincedentally had a similar result vs Badou Jack (remember when Jack's forehead was split wide open??!!??) Anyway, my point is about this fight!!!! Goulamirian shoulda been nicknamed the Ghoul!!! Coz he has that evil, nasty streak in him, like he enjoys dishing out a bit of punishment!!! He spends his time training up at Big Bear alongside many other Monsters!!! So he has cardio to go with the power punching. Then we have Bejenaru, also undefeated, also a European who trains in the US, only he is on the East Coast in Brooklyn coming from another real good gym. This is 1 of these 50/50 fights and it is for an undisputed World Title at Cruiserweight! Big Boys who can Bang!!! I really think this will be the fight of the weekend and you should try to find a way to watch it. It is being broadcast live on Canal+, Eurosport and other channels across Europe. I am sure there will be a steam available for US viewers, maybe ESPN+ or DAZN pick it up? My prediction? I am taking Bejenaru, I think he is the better boxer and I think he frustrates Feroz early and catches him late. As per usual 90+% are picking the A Side. The A Side guy does win a lot of the time in boxing but evry now and then you get a 50/50 fight. This is 1 of them
