After hearing in some interviews, I really question how much McDonald wants to become great in this sport, that being said, I don't see him losing to a guy I've never heard of.

Ever since McDonald stopped Manny Tapia, and then avenged his loss to Cole Escovedo (he was still only like 18 or 19 at the time) I've really had my eye on him as a top prospect.  I don't know much about Alex Soto, but if he can beat McDonald, you can be sure he's legit.

Didn't like McDonald's last preformance, He had no awareness of how close that fight was against Cariaso, I actually and honestly thought he was gonna lose after the bell in the third. Hopefully he comes out... Because Soto is a gamer....

I'm not so sure about McDonald's hype. He's shown some really good skills but he's also struggled a lot with some guys I thought he'd run through. Admittedly Figueroa and Cariaso are good, and he looked damn good against Figueroa, I was surprised they were so effective at times. I think he beats Soto though, and I hope he justifies his hype tommorow.

I don't buy into his hype either, like I've said in a previous thread about Mayday, an interview he did where he said he didn't even like MMA among other things told me he will never be great.
