Any good bets to make in this event, fellas?

I think Perry by Dec is good value. He has been fighting smarter and more deliberate. Burn by KO is something I'm looking at. No money on Bontorin this week, I think Paiva is very technical and I'm interested to see how he performs, regardless of the tea leaves.

Ooookk UFC.. Seriously. when are you gonna give Valentina a reeaaal fight?? Flyweight is in desperate need of star power. I mean, other than Goat Nunes, who's gonna beat Valentina? But my only debate between me and myself is, will Valentina finish Carmouche? Carmouche is super tough and hard to finish...... Like the frozen seafood you get at Long John Silver's (Seafood Fast Food Joint), but then again...... I thought Jessica Eye was tough & durable tooo. Annnd we know how devastating that was.

Fight if the Night. Atleast Round of the Night. Wouldn't be surprised to see this scrap on everyone's Round or Fight of the Year. What a fan friendly ****** fight man.

Bandenay vs. Garagorri

Idk, maybe I'm tooo lifted, but when i took a quick glance at Garagorri, I at 1st thought it was Alessio Sakara. But honestly, I was never reeaaally impressed with Bandenay. And that one quick KO he had, was most likely lucky shot. Hope he trained extra hard on jiu jits this camp.

Oezdemir vs. Latifi

Can't believe I'm actually picking Öezdemir. I just kinda feel like HE NEEDS THIS WIN BADLY, or else he can work elsewhere. I never thought he was as goood as ppl were making him out to be tooo, as shown in his last 3 fights. But c'mon, I just can't take Latifi here. He's gonna fade after R1, Leaving himself vulnerable for a KO. Atleast how I see it. Veryyy possible Öezdemir continues his downward trajectory tooo. Wouldn't be shocked with either to be honest.

Paiva vs. Bontorin

Why in the ************* hell was this fight put together??? ONLY REASON these two should be matched up now, is for a #1 contender spot. I already know MassaBruce is blowing steam outta his ears because he's about to blow his top over this.. Mick Maynard or Sean Shelby. Which one of you idiots put this fight together. You should be shot for this crime against humanity. idiots.

I can't see this going any other way than Valentina being far too much for Liz (yes I know Liz has a win over her but it was doctor stoppage nearly 9 years ago). She's just better than Liz everywhere bar the wrestling department. This will also mark the first time since 2013 Liz has competed more than once a year meaning her once exeptional cardio might not be up to the same standard. 
Result: Shevchenko 3rd KO/TKO

Luque vs. Perry


Perry is great fun to watch whoever he's fighting but this really seems like Luque's fight to lose. Vicente is just the more complete fighter as he can match Perry's power on the feet but is miles ahead of Perry on the ground. Mike does have a great chin so I don't likely see him getting finished with strikes but a submission finish isn't out of the question. 
Result: Luque 3rd SUBMISSION 


Oezdemir vs. Latifi


After coming in to the UFC like a wrecking ball Volkan has hit some tough times losing 3 in a row (granted the last loss was very contentious), Latifi is just that guy who's just always consistently somewhere in the middle of the top 15 but never really gets much further. Volkan's got the clear edge on the feet and Latifi on the ground so this is kind of pick em. If it was over 5 rounds I might lean towards Latifi but Volkan's power should win him the first two rounds as long as he can keep it on the feet. 
Result: Oezdemir DECISION


Piechota vs. Viera


By all accounts Viera is one of the absolute best BJJ practitioners in competing in MMA today, Piechota just lost his last fight by submission to Gerald Meerschaert who's good on the ground but no Viera. Piechota has a chance on the feet but first time Viera can get this to the mat im guessing its over. 
Result: Viera 1st SUBMISSION
