aldo's struggles to make weight are anything but private, if he doesn't finish mendes fast, how long do you think he can last before he tires out?

aldo better come out uber-aqggressive b/c if this goes to the late rounds i think the wrestler wins. i got aldo 2nd round tko over mendes. the crowd will be super pumped and i can almost visualize a flying knee to the face of mendes. :- }

Aldo's wrestling is definitely solid. He's soundly out-wrestled everyone he's fought. I think some people might be looking a little too much into that 5th round with Hominick.

Tough one to figure out. I've said for the past year that if there's anybody in the Featherweight division that could beat Jose Aldo -- It's Chad Mendes. But, I honestly think his inexperience is going to show tonight. If this fight was held one-to-two years from now, I'd be more inclined to pick Chad.

Aldo seems unstoppable right now, I was really impressed with his TDD and it looked like the weight cut was easier this time. He could be 145 champ for a long time. There is nobody right now who deserves a title shot but there are definitely some opponents for him in the future like Hioki, Poirier, Koch or Pearson.

Does anyone know if Aldo got in trouble for running into the crowd? I know he did back in the WEC after defeating Rolando Perez. At that time the WEC was under Zuffa management (I think it was WEC 38), so I figured he was probably in hot water for running out into the crowd. Anybody heard anything about this?

I was taking Mendes as the underdog to score some big points, but I did think he had a chance to wrestle Aldo. Damn impressed with Aldo's TDD, very impressive.

I had my pick for Mendes initially.

When Gray Maynard came out and said that Aldo's TDD is amazing and that he had trouble taking him down, I switched to Aldo KO Round 2. Then Urijah Faber and Chad Mendes came out and said that Mendes' style uses more explosive takedowns to catch opponents off guard, whereas Gray bullys them against the cage and then wrestles em.

But then I watched Faber vs Aldo again.
