DC needed to be humbled. Awesome. So glad to be wrong.

So a lot of pro mma bettors are saying the fight between Worthy and Smith could have been fixed. They train together everyday and are friends. They could have easily told everyone they know to place huge money on the underdog worthy at HUGE underdog profit. Place $5000 on worthy you can easily make $32,500. That is way more than UFC was ever going to pay them.

That fight was hella rigged. The uppercut didn’t even look like it landed either. Lol! Look at the fight again, I have.

after watching the ko several times in slow motion i have to disagree with you on that one. worthy landed a clean left hook right under smiths ear. the follow up upper cut missed completely. but smiths eyes were staring into space when he hit the mat. herzog might have been a little quick on the stoppage but it was a legit ko imo.

@NumbFilth nice contrarian views and insight, outside the box ..thats what i would have done to be honest, if i was either of them. when your coming from the hard knocks streets in America like these guys, seen it all, probably  both dodged the reaper a few times, **** it. werk it out, bet everything you have on it, both ( and those in a close circle )then just cash the fcuk out, and keep walking. yeah dishonorabu and all that jazz .. but thats life.. take what you can, keep moving .. life and living on Earth in this age, its all just a competition cluster fcuk for resources.. alot of it . there was another really blatant fix but i think this was among the actual higher ups as opposed buds facing each other ( and cashing in / out ).. trying to fcking think what one was it .. i think it involved Fabio Maldonado ( in his UFC tenure .. ) theres obviously been more .. same with all sports, to deny it is naive.. it is what it is .. nothing to see here .. keep walking

i would have to disagree strongly i think DC is arguably the most humble and likable champ there ever was .. each to their own but yeah .. still cant believe Cro Magniç is taking the strap back to his stone cave to put with his berry stash and stone collection... *** .. i thought he was finished as a contender

although no, Max Holloway, Robbie Lawler, Dom Cruz, theres been a few, but DC was always very likeable for me .. cant really get more humbled than to put in a lifetime of heavy work towards an Olympic top 3 medal, but to come up just short, by the skin of the teeth - in really lame / unlucky fashion .. my 2 cents ..

you know what, I'm far from conspiracy theories but I watched it again and again, numb may be right, did you notice how Smith laughs when they announce the official verdict, then Smith tried to hide laughing... The last punch missed.. And then this defense... it all makes you think seriously about this fight. Is this for real, or is it a drill? Maybe that fight was rigged

DC and the eye pokes

Predictions: 1 of 4 Winners, 0 Perfect, 50 Points   |   Tied for 2734th

I lost a lot of respect for Cormier after all that eye poking, in the first stipe match and now in the second.
The last two eye pokes did not look accidental at all and the only one who seemed to notice was Jon Anik.
Why DC? Are you taking things out of the Jon '*******' Jones playbook?

i suppose its possible that smith let himself get ko'd. but the left hook that landed under his right ear was no joke, it was a legit punch. if they worked that out between themselves and smith was willing to take the loss then more power to them.

I’ve watched that Smith fight over and over and i dont give a **** who you are that **** was rigged so they can place bets on worthy who was a HUGE underdog and make bank laughing back home.

Either way pretty good night for myself and so many of my friends. Sandhagen, Diaz vs Pettis over 2.5 Rds, Yusuff and Costa parlay, and betting on underdog Stipe. Great night of profits.

Next card I got betting on is Zhang to win by being the more technical, smarter, and quicker fighter. Zhang will outstrike Andrade in her home country! 💰🦈

Hey i'll always admit when i don't have that great of event and 241 wasn't great for me.... couple unlucky breaks tho..... I switched my pick from kenney to bermudez once the UFC & commission cheated for bermudez by making it a catch weight and i felt Romero deserved the W and Devonte smith losing was a fluke and quite honestly looked like the fix could have been in there and that DC loss was flukey too up 3-0 gets caught but it is what it is this is the fight game **** happens.
